And this is exactly why he wants to get paid now. He understands this is what teams think and isn’t going to wait until they run him into the ground to get what he’s worth.  By that time it’s too late for a RB. This is his livelihood and you can bet that all these

posters who think he’s a heachache would be doing the same thing he is to maximize their earnings during the few years that they can make this kind of money.

 

Not sure why posters/fans always take management’s side in these discussions, it’s odd to me.

 

The whole, “you singed a contract, honor it” argument is hilariously one sided in the NFL. Teams cut bait on players all the time when they don’t live up to contracts yet if a player outperforms a contract they’re supposed

to just be thankful and keep playing.
