GunnerBill Posted August 6, 2018 Share Posted August 6, 2018 Neal I think they see as a long term "big nickel" option playing that hybrid LB role. The fact that they have been using Rafael Bush as an alternative to a nickel corner in short yardage and goalline suggests they don't think Neal is ready yet. Taron has been battling with Gaines to be the starting nickel. Competition is at a relatively low scoring stalemate according to a number of observers.
