Yep, we probably aren't positioning ourselves to draft a QB to rebuild with Technically, your still assuming a lot with what you said. They did trade away players not in their plans for picks, but no one said they are being used to obtain a QB, they are trying to rebuild an entire team. They are also making moves giving them cap space, but again, nothing is guaranteed that it's being used for offensive weapons. So far they haven't spent on the offence and are using cap space for the defence. And they got rid of a QB that no one thought of as being a good starter for way more then anyone thought they could get. Then they signed a younger QB who is thought to have potential to be a starter.
