Kevin Gogan was 6'8" and got up to 340 and was one of the best guards ever , always hoped he would come to Buffalo but sadly never happened. Guy was a beast and known for being dirty but it was to get under the defenders skin not to just be a dick.

I don't like big tackles in today's NFL as they get burned to easily by speedy defenders.

I like O'connell too but his height certainly can create problems for a QB.  Guards and center are the players that are mostly in the passing lanes for lineman.  We've had a QB that has had problems seeing the field.  Not saying the next QB will but I'd be very hesitant to disrupt the passing lanes with a giant like that.  Many times we find ourselves befuddled why a QB didn't throw the ball to a clearly wide open guy, it could be because they simply couldn't see the target.  It doesn't hurt some QBs but it does hurt others.  It may cause problems on a handful of plays but even that is too much just because of someone's ridiculous height.

If the dude can block the QB better figure it out.

Then we should draft Luke Falk.

He can block more than he is intending to like the QBs vision which is more important than I think you are giving it credit for.  JMO

I'm no Luke Falk fan but he does fine.

Orlando Brown is 6'7" and Backer Mayfield has no problems and that's who I hope we get.

He's too big for tackle, I think he would really struggle with today's faster DEs. He is surprisingly lean maybe he could but he already plays guard so switching to tackle would be tough.

How about tight end.  It would be like having LeBron James as tight end.  It would take him some major adjustment but he' would have an unbeatable catch radius!
