OldTimeAFLGuy Posted March 20, 2017 Share Posted March 20, 2017 I lost a cousin to ALS in December 2013. I knew very little about the disease up until that point. It's beyond awful. I know the money raised during the ALS Challenge actually helped scientists to find a way to slow the disease, but it's not nearly enough. Strides need to be made. I wish strength for Dwight, his family and friends during this trying time. ....it is just a slow paralyzing death that is woeful to watch......one of my HS buddies that I lost told his wife, "just let me qo...this is NOT life".....friends for 50 years......
