Diversity wins!!!

Recommended Posts

Rex has hired and/or promoted two African American coordinators and a female full time coach. Yes of course he and his brother help run the defense, but Thurman and Lynn seem to be doing quite well under Ryan.

Lynn has had HC interivew opportunites and if TT continues to progress I'm afraid but happy he might get an opportunity in college or the NFL.

Thurman will probably never get the credit he deserves until he leaves Ryan's side. And we will probably never know how much Rex, Rob, or Dennis are in control of the gameplan and play calling.

More minority HC hires only happens when minorities get the chance to be coordinators. Kudos to rex.

Oh yeah, Tom Flores should have been in the HOF a long time ago and before Tony Dungy!!!

If we want race issues to go away in America, how about we just quit mentioning people's color and just start referring to them as Americans.

Because its always too easy to say you didn't get the job because you are a minority rather than because someone was simply more qualified than you. However, there IS an inherent bias if a white person is interviewing a white candidate and a minority candidate who are equal, the vast majority of times the white candidate is going to get the job...why? Because they are more comfortable with them. Is it right? No. Is it wrong? Not necessarily...its just how things work in the real world in every culture, not just here.

Changing subjects.... lets celebrate the fact, we have been told Dennis Thurman called last weeks game and Rex said hes gonna let Thurman do most of the play calling from here on out (which if you looked on the sideline and seen Thurman the call sheet you would know), and Im pretty sure Thurman called todays game as well. Props to Dennis for the games, props to Rex for getting out of the way, and props to Rob for getting our LBs in crazy form.
