The Eagles played well at times during the first half, but it took Brady some time to get into a rhythm. I expect a Patriots to blow it open in the second half. Brandon Posted February 7, 2005 Share Posted February 7, 2005 This game reminds me of Super Bowl 28, where the Bills clearly outplayed the Cowboys for a half, but could manage only a 13-6 lead. Much like the Bills, the Eagles have played very, very well, but despite having the Patriots on the ropes, they failed to deliver the knockout punch and let NE get back in the game late. Unless New England comes out flat again in this second half, they'll probably win this game. Unfortunately, I suspect that, much like Dallas did, the Pats will come out hitting on all cylinders and the Eagles will do well just to survive the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half.
