NPR Cowbell story

I doubt any of you cowbellers listen to NPR, so here is a link to the story.

It was pretty funny hearing the history of the cowbell.

And where would Grand Funk, Mountain, etc be without it!?

So, bang the drum slowly.

Most of the Cowbell bangers here wouldn't know Felix Paparaldi if they tripped over him.

Me and a couple buddies saw Mountain play New Year's Eve at the Felt Forum in MSG back in '72... I think :(

We had 3rd or 4th row seats, off to stage right, and my ears are still ringing! :(

I'm not crusading against the cowbell. I'm crusading against institutionalized loserism and lame-assedness...and for the glockenspiel.

Now bow to the power and purity of the glockenspiel, peasant!
