ajzepp Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 If I were Jerry Richardson, the one change I would make to the Carolina franchise would be the name, not the logo. Back in '94 I remember an interview with some guy who was an expert in naming stuff...I don't really remember what his title was or anything like that, but he was some sort of consultant. He said that his suggestion to the NFL Owners, or whoever was naming the two expansion franchises, was to call the team the Carolina Puma, as Puma is one of the two accept plural forms of the word. Like: Jets, Falcons, Bucs, 49ers, Rams, Cowboys, Browns, Dolphins, Pats* Dislike: Ravens, Cinci Tiger Shrimp, Steelers, Chargers, Giants, Packers, Seahawks, Raiders, Bills The rest I'm ambivalent.
