I have a similar one: Several years ago, somebody broke into my grandmother's house in Niagara Falls (near 20th Street - if you know the area, it's now a cesspool ). She was in the mid-70s at the time and was in her backyard gardening when the guy slipped in. She happened to go in the house while he was there, saw him, so grabbed a knife from the kitchen, and cornered him. The punk threw something at her that hit her in the head (nothing serious), and she responded by stabbing him with the knife! He pushed her down and ran out the door bleeding. The police picked him up a few blocks away. My grandmother was pissed because the police took the knife as evidence; it was her favorite knife.
