stevestojan
I think you're screwed... If I recall correctly from when I was 5 or 6, "I'm rubber, you're glue, whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks onto you." ... Doesn't say anything about sticking the glue to the rubber, much less then sticking both to wood...

Kinda like Cliff Claven on Cheers.
stuckincincy
What kind of rubber? Foam? Neoprene? Isoprene, EPDM?, Butyl? What wood? Are you going to seal it with something? Vertical surfaces? Horizontal? Moisture exposure? Heat exposure? Sunlight exposure? Flat panels or compound curves? Mechanical stresses? Flexural considerations? Any tension or shear stress? Cugalabanza
You should NEVER glue your rubber to your wood. Everybody knows that.

BuffalOhio
Gorilla Glue polyurethane adhesive. Available at Home Depot. Great stuff - won't come off. May need clamps. You could also try contact cement. Used for laminating countertops with formica. Put some on the wood, put some on the rubber, let dry 15-30 minutes, then stick them together. Good stuff, too.
