Chef Jim
Small windows... But you are right... Cost goes skyward! Anyway... Don't they have companies/guys that do in-home cleaning... I think they use ultrasonic cleaning methods? We would co-ordinate it with the guy who would clean the windows. They'd pull the blinds down and clean them and he'd clean the windows while they cleaned the blinds.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Nice custom real wood ones cost well over 100 bucks and upward, depending on the size of the window. Smith+Noble has a nice online design selector... No kidding. Blinds are really expensive. We just dropped two grand on blinds for the whole house. Chef Jim
No kidding. Blinds are really expensive. We just dropped two grand on blinds for the whole house. We just spent $1200 for one window. Granted its a big corner window and worth every penny.
TakeYouToTasker
My blinds have gotten really dirty and I'm not talking dust. The only way I can see it is cleaning each individual slat, but that seems like a major pain in the ass. Any suggestions? Have your wife do it. Failing that, hire someone. JinVA
well for your sake, i hope you take better care of your investment than the OP seems to have done... I agree. I found someone that actually cleans them on the side for extra money. $20 bucks per window, fortunately it's only the front ones that need cleaning. Not exactly sure how they got so dirty and the rest didn't.
