It’s Bunkley’s first known visit since the signing period began last Tuesday. Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune took the time to examine where other outlets had Bunkley rated in the 2012 free agency class. SI’s Peter King had him as the No. 10 overall free agent. CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco rated Bunkley 24th. NoSaint Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 You think Bunkley is better than everyone available on the list? All 28 guys that are still available and ranked higher might be better. There are a few wrs, LTs and CBs on that list that are all ranked higher and are positions of need. Paying a backup 5-7 mill just doesn't make sense when we still have serious holes (lt, Wr, lb and even cb). Pass Not my fav but 3rd DT will likely get a ton of reps. I wouldn't just say backup.
