Will the Bills EVER Have an All Pro Tight End?

Recommended Posts

Let me explain a couple of things.

First when you have a TE that does what you tell him to do,you have a good TE.

Chandler does what he is asked to do.

Second much of what you put into your post was the result of all those scouts that were fired by Nix.

To go on about what happened in the past with people that are no longer even with the team, and that means coachs and managers is flat out ignorant. How would you be if you were blamed for what the guy you replaced did.Think about it.

We will never know but we may have had an All Pro Tight End in Kevin Everett.

Jay Riemersma could have been but could not stay healthy. Then the Bills would not pay him and he left.

It seems the Bills have never had an offense that features the Tight End sufficiently.

What's wrong with Scott Chandler?????? 262 yards and 6TD's ain't bad. TE is the least of the teams worries right now.

Bingo. If they would throw to him more, MAYBE we would make a few more 1st downs and not have George Edwards wretched defense on the field for 48 minutes a game.

"Inapproapriate thread"? Really? How about a thread that discusses whether our remaining games are "winnable" and that if we go 4 and 2 we've got a good shot at the playoffs? Tight end isn't a number one priority by any means. The thread is just a comment on how poorly the team has responded in trying to fill a position of need for at least eight years.

Maybe "inappropriate" was too harsh, but you have to admit it isn't quite timely. This is the kind of thread that is usually started in the off-season, or after an abysmal game by the TE. We just have so many other issues we are dealing with, it seems "strange" to start this thread now. (It's not unlike the "should we re-sign roscoe parrish" thread--just seems to be untimely).
