Chandler#81 Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 I'm in the camp that as long as they (the Staff) believe he CAN play NFL football, he should occupy a spot on the roster. We took him in the draft -not wanting him to sit all Spring & Summer at home while other teams finally did their due diligence and clamored at his door when the lockout was lifted. That is true. But he didn't play tackle at that point. He was a TE. Also, how many news stories about Peters were there? It's hard to keep a low profile on a 390 pound NT. I've seen at least a few stories on him. Plus, people will see him playing NT during the preseason. And he will own the opposing 3rd string guys I am pretty certain.
