Start of Camp season predictions

Recommended Posts

As a true bills fan, you have to be hopeful, optimistic, and realistic. You gotta say we beat the Browns, chiefs, lions, and jags. theres 4. We split with the jets/dolphins, theyre good teams but we get them at home we shouldnt get swept. theres 6. I'll throw in one game we shouldnt win, maybe cuz the other team has their qb hurt or a botched field goal. theres 7.

were not talented enough yet to win 11-12 games and make the playoffs, but we can be .500 or close with this team and coaching.

but in all honesty, none of it matters. Dont we play the steelers early when they dont have big ben? that could be another win, so maybe 8? maybe trent has a career year, defense dominates, and we get 10? or all our qbs get hurt, we have to start brown, and we win 2 games. who knows.

Maybe we play the Jets JV team week 17 like we did the colts last season.

No. We play them Nov 28th, week 12.

Trent Edwards starts season as #1 QB.

O-Line is horrible again in pass protection and TE becomes "Captain Checkdown" again before suffering a season-ending injury on a sack.

Fitz takes over and he too goes down with a season-ending injury.

Injuries also hit the O-line again and Reuben Brown is brought in out of retirement.

Brohm struggles behind the make-shift O-line and Levi Brown starts the last 3 games.

Schobel decides to play but, after struggling to pick up his 3-4 assignments, decides to retire at midseason. After injuries to Dallas D-line, Cowboys acquire rights to Schobel for 2020 7th round pick and talk him out of retirement. As pass rush specialist, he has 8 sacks in last 5 games and is Defensive Player of Month for December.

Jason Campbell leads a much improved Oakland offense & team to 8-8 record.

CJ Spiller lives up to college reputation and brings excitement to another dismal season with several long scoring plays and gets good number of votes for AFC Offensive Rookie of Year.

With Bills struggling, reporter asks Dick Jauron about Bills problems. Jauron states (I know everyone knows this is coming) "It's tough to win in the NFL" :censored:

jags, bengals, bears, jets, pats (x2), fins. maybe even the packers.

10-6 capable of beating any team in the league any given sunday.

please tell me why you think the Bills are so bad. is it all that you have read?

10-6? You must be a mile "high". Not a chance.

We'll lose to Cincy, NE (x2), and GB. .500 is pushing it. 10-6 is for heavy drug users only.

I Believe 8-8 possibly 9-7 with a surprise win against either (Cin,Pitts,Minn). Jets have enough defense to split. NE has offense in passing game, ? running game (lot of old legs). Mia big ?. Is Ronnie truly back, He does seem breakable. Can Ricky carry them again, if Ronnie goes down. Is henne the real deal?

Although we play some real contenders ( Cin, Pitts, Minn, GB ) the rest are slightly better, equal, or worse IMO.

If this team gets to the bye healthy and playing well, then i billieve anything can happen.

1-5 in the div is giving our opponents too much credit. The jets did not improve their run game imo, which means reliance a 2nd year QB who did not light up the league as a rook. look for so-so second year. Typically, the light does not go on until the third or fourth year if they last that long.

Henne for Miami is also going to have to prove himself. I think their running game is about to run out of gas, too many miles on all four wheels.

NE is entering the end of their run, just as Buffalo did 10 years ago. The difference is we had little to no offense, and they have little to no defense.

3-3 in div possibly 4-2

Everyone is entitled to their respective opinions, let me just go on record by stating that we will be at least

9-7 this year, we get a couple of breaks here and there and we go 11-5. I think we beat them (Fish) twice actually.

We will blow them out in the opener. I see wins from Jacksonville, one against the Jests, we beat NE at least once,

so 4-2 in the division is realistic, and we basically split the rest of them.

We are better, much, than the Dolphins, btw, I am not a homer, I live in Pittsburgh, and I do not have my head in the

sand, I do however drink a little kooliaide every once in a while. I realize that after so much losing and mediocrcacy,

it is the easy thing to do, just keep being pessimistic, and expect the worse, it's almost like the frustration has caused

a lot of you to be unrealistically negative. No way do we win only three games this year, but since all of the supposed experts are predicting this, you might as well believe them, no guts.

:)

10-6, but I agree that with a few breaks....

If Trent Edwards plays well this is a playoff team.

Now that the camp has started lets do some season predictions. We can do so again at the end of camp when all positions have been settled, any injuries have happened ect.

At this point with not knowing how it all settles out I have to believe that a 7-9 team from last year with better coaching has to improve.

I will say 9-7

9-7, 10-6 :)
