Why are we potentially trading for Gaither instead of Jamaal Brown?

I think both players want big contracts. There are some effort/laziness issues with Gaither.

Nice of you to omit Brown's injury. You do realize that even if he can pass a physical that it does not necessarily translate into him being able to resume his old form. The same goes for Mitchell. To be realistic both players are diminished somewhat in ability and/or longevity.

Lordy, Lordy if the Bills made a move to get a non-scrub LT I'd be so happy- I'm amazed that anyone has the nerve to complain- I mean let me get this strait after all the moronic things the Bills have done, your complaint is that the top 10 OT we might be going after may be slightly worse than another guy if the other guy is completely healed from serious injuries that kept him from playing last season.

Gaither is also a hell of a lot better.

Take a look at last year's rankings. Gaither is #6 out of 77. Brown was injured all year.

In 2008, Gaither was #11 out of 77. Brown was #47 out of 77.

In 2007, Brown was #52 out of 63.
