It's not so bad there. Rutgers-Camden is there, so there is lots of security...However, you venture away from that area, kiss your ass goodbye. I went to Widener, and if you stepped foot off of campus, you are in trouble. It was always an interesting experience to walk to the train station. I know people who live in Camden and have been all over the city without incident. There's a great soul food restaurant in Camden that I visited when I visited my Mother, who lived in Deptford, just about 20 minutes away from Camden.
