Pretty cool.I could watch that a thousand times and I have a big smile on my face every time. It's incredible to look back on that era and remember Jim, Bruce, Steve, Thurman, Will, Kent, Andre and Lofton but lost in all of those names are the backups who provided incredible depth to that team. Jim was out and Thurman was out and it didn't matter one iota for that team. It's nice to feel good about the Bills again, even if it was 17 years ago. (With Joe Theisman - not quite as smooth.) Funny story I taped the game from NBC's pregame through the postgames & right after the touchdown to make it 35-10 the tape ran out. I just replayed that part where Berman said that one thing edited out. This is the 1st time I saw the rest of the highlights after the tape ran out. Indeed.... and besides, a later Beebe bomb was wiped out by a phantom false start penalty... and a game-ending INT on a weak Roughing the Passer... any game has so many moments that could go either way... Turns out, the Comeback Game was the beginning of the end of that franchise. Not every day that we get to witness the literal destruction of a franchise... gobillsinytown Posted January 18, 2010 Share Posted January 18, 2010 I have a copy of the game feed with no commercials, so I got a little bit of the comments by the announcers off air. They said the same thing......lots of blown calls for and against both teams. I remember a couplt of the Oilers complaining about the officiating, but most of the players took the blame on themselves. When you're up by over 30 points at halftime, you should win the game.
