nucci
If nearing the end of the 1st OT and neither team is going to score, does the game continue to the 2nd OT or start over with another coin toss and kickoff?

I am pretty sure that there is continuous play from quarter to quarter.

billygoats
has a playoff overtime game ever required more than 1 extra period?

silvermike
Rams-Panthers also did it in 2003 or 2004. Delhomme to Smith on the first play of the second overtime. However, I think at the end of the 2nd overtime, there is a two minute warning, and a mini 'halftime' before they go to a 3rd.

K-9
Anyone else remember Christmas day 1971? Miami at the Chiefs in the playoffs. Longest game ever. Ed Podolak had like 900 combined yards or so it seemed. Anyway, it's continous play. Just keep changing sides of the field after every quarter. GO BILLS!!! KD in CA
Dolphins-Chiefs on Christmas Day 1971 went into the second overtime. I remember Jets-Browns going to double OT several years ago.
