What's going on with the Bills Brass? Rumors are the Bills brain trust were very interested, and maybe still are, in bringing Michael Vick in to be their QB. Maybe they have a new formula in building an NFL franchise, mixing "Has Beens" with "Never Has Beens".

Do we have any has-beens, maybe T.O., other than that it is a team of Never has beens, and never will be's.

funny how noodle armed QBs can make a hall of fame receiver who still has great speed a has- been

The Quarterbacks are only half of his problem, the bigger problem is he drops more passes than he catches. I know he always has been right at the top of drops, but this year it appears his hands are made of stone, and when he goes up for a ball, it looks like he has some type of muscle disorder, his arms are just flopping all over the place.

The issue here is not "has beens". The Bills have to many "are going to be good" players on the team. One thing Mitchell said last year when he got here was that the Bills lack leadership in the locker room. TE is a captain on the team and so was Losman. That should tell you everything. The two guys that were and are having trouble leading a offense are in charge. TE has no confidence in himself, what does that tell the team? He likely has no confidence in the team either. They should of, would of, could of, brought in Ryunan or L.Jones to help develop the O-Line. They didn't and it shows. TE has about 2 secs after snapping the ball to throw it or get killed by the D-linemen blowing past the O-line. Bottom line, the Bills are too young all around.

Agreed. Who are the leaders on the Bills? Edwards was quoted saying how he picked up on some things when sidelined and had a chance to speak to the OL about protection schemes and what they like!?! WTF! Why isn't he doing that in practice and better yet when the game is going on. I have never seen Trent Edwards look like he is firing guys up or getting in their faces for poor play. I also don't see him audible enough or Jauron won't let him. The communication looks to be lacking on offense. Does anyone truly think DJ is a leader? We see the same ho hum attitude, no passion and no accountability. We hear the same quotes about how the offense isn't working and how they need to check out the game film or why they can't seem to stop the run for the past 3 years. The whole organization just seems to be in a lull. They need someone somewhere to inject some life into them. The players look like they don't care if they lose - you can't tell if they won or lost usually.

Its a rudderless ship right now. The guys on defense who should be leaders apparently aren't. Schoebel or Stroud?........doesn't seem like one. Whitner, McGee? Whitner is spouting off about Micheal Vick. Hey Donte quit worrying about guys on other teams and make some damn plays. He should be bolted to the bench the rest of the year w/ his mouth bolted shut. Polian would have killed some of these guys by now, but he probably would have never selected them. I'm sure those comments will unite the players for the rest of the year.

This organization is a train wreck. Take it to the bank if DJ is still here next year we select a S with our first round pick and he will replace Whitner after next year as the starter.
