  1. I'm going with the Jets. Can't take the Rams in Denver, 25 degrees and snow. Can't take the Bears coming off of the bye into 89 degrees in Miami. Some suggested Atlanta, but with the 31st ranked D, that game will be a track meet, last one with the ball wins. Thanks for the replies. For today, go Jets! J-E-T-S!
  2. I don't have the guts to make that play, definitely rooting for it though!
  3. I have considered the Texans, one I do find it hard to pick against Buffalo. Two, I just don't see Houston as being that much of a better team than the Bills. Their last two wins were in OT by field goals (and that is definitely a positive) against Dallas and the colts. Before that they lost to the Giants and Titans. So while at home, they probably come away with a win, but if Buffalo comes out ahead in the turnover battle, this could be a Bills win.
  4. For what it's worth I started with 3 entries, down to my final bullet and I needed the miracle comeback by the Bengals last week (down 17-0) to stay alive. One of my entries was out in week 1, Lions at home losing to the Jets. ?
  5. Shady, you seem to get just the way I'm feeling. So many teams this season are up and down, Jekyll and Hyde. You just don't know what to expect. The Rams have looked so good this season, but they just slipped past the Seahawks last week 33-31. Could this be their turn to lay an egg? The mile high atmosphere does affect visitors in Denver. Chicago coming off of a bye week, a lot of teams start off slow. Their D is strong, but can Trabisky repeat? The Jets have some parts, including a decent run game. But that's a shaky team to let $1,400 ride on. A lot of people are picking the Rams, is Denver that bad? Will they bounce back at home after a humiliating loss at the Jets?
  6. I'm suffering fom paralysis by analysis on my survivor pick this week. The top choices I'm considering are Jets over Colts, Rams over Broncos and Bears over Dolphins. I have already used these teams and can not choose them: Panthers Vikings Browns Packers Bengals It's down to 6 people for a $1,400. pot. Keep in mind that point spreads do not matter. Just need a winner.
  7. Terrible last possession of the first half. We're pinned down with 1:02 left. 3 point lead. They have 3 timeouts and because of absolutely horrendous play calling, they get the ball back with 44 seconds and 2 timeouts. It's football 101 there, run the ball and make them burn their timeouts! Elementary!
  8. When 75% of your throws are out of bounds or overthrown, it's easy to not have them intercepted.
  9. We are soooo damn lucky to only be down 7! Let's do something here!!!
