  1. It's simply called the natural progression of a young player. And it won't be linear, there will still be games he seems to take a step back. Overall tho, his progress has been fantastic and IMO Poyer has played an integral part in helping him understand both his role and how to communicate properly in this D. Safety is an extremely hard position to master in this D because of all the disguising and communication needed in it. Poyer said it took 2 years of him starting to finally feel comfortable in it. Bishop has far less time than that but he has the guy who played it at an All-Pro level mentoring him.
  2. They have enough trouble trying to field a team that would be eligible based on their grades 🤣
  3. Currently on pace for 42.5, likely gets a few more so I'll say 44. Unless he sits week 18, then probably 41 or 42.
  4. This dude has been a revelation...
  5. They changed their backup QBs jersey number to the same number as the punter the day before the game and then submitted the roster. Pretty wild...number 80 in the game to punt but instead of it being the punter, it's the backup QB who completes a pass for the first down. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/college-football/breaking-news/article/usc-pulls-off-fake-punt-with-backup-qb-wearing-punters-jersey-number-in-win-over-northwestern-134128508.html
  6. Nope...missed that one F that school! Lived in Columbus for 6 years and my biggest joys were watching Michigan kick their ass and see all of them crying in their beer. Until I was down the street from campus watching with my buddies and they went psycho and started overturning cars and setting dumpsters on fire...never went back down there for that game again 🤣
  7. He can make a leap forward, probably not to Moulds level, but he is not being utilized properly right now so if he continues being used the way he is, probably not.
  8. Some other notables: JC Tretter (C/Batavia) who served as the player president of the NFLPA and then as the Chief Strategy Officer. Played in the NFL for 8 years. He resigned amid allegations he buried results from injury reports and concussion data although he denied it. Corey Graham(DB/Buffalo) who won 2 SBs with Baltimore and Philadelphia. Went to Turner/Carroll HS which is now closed. Jim Dombrowski (G/Williamsville) who is the highest drafted WNY player ever, taken 6th by the Saints in 1986. Played 11 years and is in the College Football HOF as well as the Saints HOF. Brett Kern(P/Grand Island) 3x Pro Bowl punter mostly for the Titans. Shane Conlan(LB/Carroll) is from Carroll, NY in Chataqua County and played for Frewsburg HS. Had no idea he was a local product. James "Boobie" Starks(RB/NF) played for the Packers and won a Super Bowl
  9. Also both Nick Sirianni and Roger Goodell who hail from Jamestown. I wonder what the odds are that 2 of the major players in the NFL including the commissioner and Super Bowl winning coach are from the same small town in WNY? Has to be astronomical.
  10. I carry that torch as well and have posted the studies showing they don't exist...probably could find them, it was a while back.
  11. And he still does since the Bills lead the NFL in explosive plays this year.
  12. Most people don't know that he actually broke his nose on this play 🤣🤣 Mental illness? CTE from being concussed by his O-Lineman's butt?
  13. I mean they average more points against KC in the playoffs than during the regular season. The issue as always is the D allows an average of 14 more points to KC in the playoffs. There is no way there should be that consistently large of a difference ove this many games between the two. It's inexplicable.
  14. He caught 2. The first was a play-action bomb down field on the first play for the Bills for like 40 yards and the second was a deep over for 20 yards. That was the play he got hurt on early 2nd quarter. If he stayed healthy likely would have had a 100+ yard game. I always liked Palmer in San Diego and he was often targeted deep and often was wide open. I don't need him running 40 yards down field, I just think the Bills should target him right in the 20-25 yard range more often like the ball he caught in the Chiefs game. He was wide open there again on one of Allen's short incompletions to Hawes earlier in the game. I have a feeling if we go back and look he likely has been open a bunch of times on those plays over the season.
  15. I mean I am equally excited to watch this team move the ball with ruthless efficiency and just pile up points. I don't care how they do it, just do it. I mean, Allen seems to be at his best now when we can comfortably sit back and watch him pick apart defenses and have almost zero concern about a turnover happening. And score more points than any of those teams ever did.
