We have a lot of good young players and have finally drafted some good lineman. In order to take advantage of that good young talent, we need better coaching. I think that's obvious, and is something that should be said. Just blindly cheering about moral victories isn't what a message board like this is all about IMO. You come here to discuss how to make the team better. And getting a legitimate head coach would lead to actual victories, not just moral ones.

IF you don't trust the O-line to pick up 1 yard, why the hell would you trust them to pick up the next 150 yards needed to score two times in the final 4 minutes when we got the ball back again? And a FG for NO doesn't kill you there, you're still down by two scores. If you trust your defense to get the job done from midfield, let them get the job done from the 28 yard line as well.

If you punt, you lose. You line up up and pound the ball. And if you are so confident in your defense, let them hold NO to a FG if you don't make it, you'll still be down by two scores either way. Absolutely mind boggling that he punted there.
