My undergrad years were 75-79. The year before I went there, the speakers bureau had two great speakers. Moe Howard of the Three Stooges and Noel Neill, Lois lane in the original Superman TV show. The tickets sold out.
I was in high school, but I was there to see Moe.

I saw the movie, he wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

@GunnerBill Since my post there have been six more. Three are involved in a discussion about Elam. Two of the other three are negative posts about White.
One of those comes from a guy who has repeatedly called the Bills a poorly run organization while also starting a thread about the Yankees and in it calling them a well run organization. Yes, you read that right. The Yankees are well run and the Bills are poorly run. Obviously a warehouse full of salt grains on that one.
The next is a post with veiled assertions about White’s “poor work ethic” as per WGR. His performance in his first few weeks off an ACL was “meh”. We should definitely draw conclusions from that as most people come back from ACLs and immediately succeed.
The third….from a poster famous for being negative…..simply calls my post strange. I don’t know why but maybe it was about White. The fact that the poster made no effort to refute anything in it is interesting.
Me personally? I’ll be rooting for White to succeed. I’m optimistic that he will. If he fails at least some people will be happy and maybe we can go out and sign the football equivalent of Giancarlo Stanton like a well run organization.
Have a cookie.

Why would you say that? He’s signed until 2025. Just curious, do you think we will trade or cut him? Cheers.
Cap casualty if they need $ and there isn’t much drop-off between the other CBs and him.

You may think that but I didn’t think he was great in college and he played man there predominantly. It’s clear McDermott and staff don’t trust him.
It doesn’t matter what the depth looks like if the coaching staff can’t trust him on the field. He wouldn’t be a starter still in that scenario unless his game is severely elevated and I don’t see it happening.
You may be right, I’m just not ready to write him off yet. We’ll see.

Elam is going to get traded so they might as well do it now while there is still value and teams think they can develop him.
Always thought he was going to bust and is a bad schematic fit on top but I still think in man he won’t be a great corner in the NFL
Way too soon. #1 & 2 CBs next year could very well be Elam and Dane, no guarantee Tre is still on the team in 2024.

Your extended break was a good move, some people may have forgotten... but even more so, you're lucky Thurman1 came along.

If there is one thing I’ve learned over the years on this board, it is to not trust @C.Biscuit97’s assessment of QB play. 😂
Fun fact: Did you know EJ had better stats than Josh Allen in their rookie years?

Depends what people think bust means. I tend to have a much higher bar to call someone a bust.
OK. Will either be better than Marcus Mariota?

I dunno. While Chicago's metro area is a bit bigger (8.9 million), it's not that much bigger (Houston's is 7.3 million). And last I heard football is pretty big in Texas.
True. The Bears though are one of the most storied franchises in the history of the league and the Texans have always been circling the bottom.

I’m surprised Fields is leading. Never too late to change your mind and change your vote.

He is a great interviewer, I'll give him that. I will still watch clips on YT when he's talking to someone like Macca.
That's it though, he started becoming devoid of any real laughs years ago, and I stopped listening.
Maybe he got funny again since I bailed, but all indications to me are that he hasn't.

I remember when we traded you guys that horrible center we signed from Cincy. I don’t remember his name but he was bad.

They open with two divisional games. Browns and Ravens.
Here in Baltimore, I had about 10 happy Ravens at work telling me about this in the afternoon.

How many 6ths we need? Think we have 3 now thanks to trading down in the draft.
As many as you can get without hurting the team, always good for trade bait.
Hamlin and a 6th for a 5th.

Why isn't Zach Wilson on this poll. Number #2 pick in the draft. He was terrible his first two years in the league and now he will hold a clipboard these next two seasons watching Rodgers play.
It’s all about Ohio State QBs in the NFL.

Pick 2 vs pick 11 gives one a distinct advantage in potential to be the bigger bust
True. I do remember reading that Bears fans were very upset that he didn't make the Pro Bowl last year, so it seems expectations are very high there... and to me, busting in Chicago is a whole lot bigger than busting in Houston.

You obviously need more education on this topic.
Every single guy who died in WWII, to name one of dozens of wars this country has fought, died so that this player could do what she did. A peaceful political statement of this type could not be MORE AMERICAN.
If you want strict laws enforcing obedience as a single person sees fit, and stricter penalties for violating those laws, you belong in Putin's Russia.
Or Stalin's USSR. Or Hitler's Germany.
Have you considered emigrating to Russia? I've been there.
St. Petersburg is a lovely city.
I don’t think that Britney dude would agree.

Patrick Queen: Would you trade a late rounder for him?

I would support Beane looking for a veteran MLB if he feels he needs one, but seeing Queen here in Baltimore, I don’t really want him. Very mediocre, un-Ravensy.
