According to PFF they addressed their interior OL problem with 2 OL that were bad in 2022 and two rookies.
I get that fans want to imagine that guys like McGovern, Edwards, Harty and Sherfield will all play SO MUCH better than they were last year because Beane's crystal ball has foretold it...........but they are just shots in the dark not an indication that they've surely made strides in those areas of weakness.
The only improvement that I can definitely see happening comes from Josh being further removed from his injury. I’m optimistic about all the new blood + Cook + Shakir, but everything is ‘if’s and ‘maybe’s to me, at this point anyways.

RIP.
Drew Bledsoe clone, so glad he never came to the Bills.

Seeing them next weekend. I don’t have really high expectations, as I was never a true fan, per se. But this is good to know heading in!I thought The Hurting was a good LP for it's time, but they jumped the shark to me with that pop crap. Made them a lot of $ though.

The tenure of Sean McDermott as head coach and the appropriate "leash" to allow him to lead this team to the Super Bowl has been a topic of considerable debate on this forum. While there's a consensus that he deserves additional time, the crux of the argument lies in determining the precise length of this leash.
To shed light on this, I conducted a simple data study, examining the trajectory of every NFL head coach who has led their team to the Super Bowl (not necessarily winning, just reaching the final game) over the past 40 NFL seasons.
Here is what the data revealed:
- On average, it takes a head coach 4.2 seasons to reach his first Super Bowl.
- Only 5 coaches in the past 40 years have made their inaugural Super Bowl appearance after 7 seasons of head coaching. This is particularly relevant as Sean McDermott is about to enter his seventh season as head coach
- The most frequent timeline for a coach's first Super Bowl appearance is two years, closely followed by five years. This trend suggests that many coaches are capable of assembling a Super Bowl-worthy team within the first 5 years of their tenure (77% of these coaches managed to make the Super Bowl within their first 5 seasons)
NOTE: The data is across the coaches entire NFL career. For example, if a coach spent 5 years on his first team, and 4 years on his second team (before making a Super Bowl) the data tallies 9 total seasons prior to his inaugural Super Bowl appearance.
NOTE 2: The Sean McDermott line is where McDermott will be after this upcoming season.
edit: I accidentally cut off the legend of my chart making it useless. Will update when im back to a computer.
Where were you during the Drought years when there was something to legitimately b#tch about? We could’ve used you back then.

People rag on Sully all the time, but he would never ever even think of writing something as inane as that.
Like I said, Tyler Dunne = total hack. #1 supporter of the last few years of the Drought Era, defending the indefensible.

What's the point of the article at all? Another coddled sport millionaire who screwed up and now is finally earning his salary--stop me if you had head this before.
Jones came in as a record setting college WR, but he couldn't handle pro DBs. He didn't know opposing D's before playing them---and got all weepy when McD would quiz him on it (like he apparently does every player). He had a tough rookie season and crumbled.
It's nice he came back to do his job (WR2) without all those problems. But this is the worst kind of puff piece. No one slobbers like T Dunne--perhaps the dumbest line he's ever written is this (for all us little people):
"And if someone who fought like a banshee to manually eject himself from that L.A. window found a way to reach such bliss, there’s zero reason any of us should wallow in pity. Over anything."
He has to be joking? Or is he so lost in professional hero boosting as a career that he hasn't any other human scale to compare to?
I think even Whaley and Monos would cringe over that line.

Not sure if anyone’s got tickets to see John Mellencamp, but he just abruptly canceled his show in Albany that was scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, June 13). I didn’t have tickets, but I considered it.

“Mellencamp just played 3 shows at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan (June 5th, 6th and 7th) and he is scheduled to play Syracuse June 14th and Buffalo on June 16th. No word on the status of the Syracuse or Buffalo show at this time.”
I had front row center for the Kinks and he was the opener back when he was Johnny Cougar. After his set, he came to the barrier and gave everyone handshakes and handslaps . Luckily, I had enough time before the Kinks started to run to the bathroom and wash my hands.

Yeah, Comeback Player of the Year goes to players who return from a serious injury. Guys who had a down year and then a massive year aren't going to take that award.
It will go to someone like Odell Beckham Jr, Matt Stafford, Breece Hall, or Tua Tagovailoa.
And honestly, given the severity of the injury, even if Damar Hamlin finishes the season in a reserve role - I could see the award going to him. But, yeah, no way does it go to Mac Jones for improving his performance.
Geno Smith was a nobody until last year, and he won it.

I thought stealing Doug Whaley from the Steelers was a good move at the time. Team needed fresh blood from a solid organization.

This bozo clearly doesn’t know that we do things differently in the AFC East. In the AFC East, when a team is the division champ, they reign for at least 10 years. Those are the rules.
Which bozo, the one in the link or the OP?

Many years ago, I tried watching Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman when it first started, but couldn't get into it. Loved Fernwood Tonight though.
Before that, I wanted very badly to watch Dark Shadows, but the ABC affiliate (Ch. 7) wouldn't carry it. Maybe they had to decide between that or Commander Tom.

To me, the 3 names you just dropped as newcomers: McGovern, Harty, and Sharfield... are scrubs that their teams didn't want to keep. I'm by no means writing them off, but my expectations are low. I also had zero expectations for Cole Beasley from the Cowboys though, so I hope to be pleasantly surprised again.
