    Harris averaging 6.1 ypc. Let's do better against the run... Of course, Josh "improving my league leading YPC" Allen is at 7.3 for the game. We need to have more than one star player on the team.

    We are missing Gabe Davis. Some of those plays to Sanders would have gone to him. I think McKenzie has done OK filling in for Beasley.

    They should have run at least once. The 3rd down throw was a miss, not on Knox. Still, on 4th down Josh made the throw and Sanders dropped it.

    Our defense has generally been terrible against outside runs. Harris killing us again.

    Lamar has has Covid 2x so it isn't far fetched that he may have some lingerjng issues. But he definitely has an ankle injury.

    So sad. The pure randomness of it makes it very hard to draw conclusions from individual cases. So many people get it and have no symptoms or minimal; others go downhill and die despite best efforts.

    They would be out 10 days regardless as unvaxxed players whereas Bourne is vaccinated. And if Beasley's doctor had told him to get vaccinated, I suspect he'd have gotten another doctor.

    Bourne's tweet implied he tested out. I don't think the Patriots get to apply some special rule without an official announcement of a protocol change, Sills' comments not withstanding.

    Well, that is a factor at the overall statistical level as well. If you are 95% protected but are then subjected to 500 Covid exposures you are probably more likely to catch it than someone who is, say, 80% protected and is only exposed 3 times. But I don't have amy reason to believe Dawkins is specifically less careful than other teammates.

    Not only is Omicron known to reinfect relatively easily if the prior illness was an earlier variant, but some people just get unlucky. I just read an article by a 30 year old woman who has had Covid 3 times (original, Delta, and Omicron) despite getting vaccinated as well. It could be genetic susceptibility.

    Based on the last 10-20 posts in the NEWS thread, the separate threads experiment is not going well. Most of those posts contain "discussion" aka opinion, rather than NEWS. I decided to post this comment here because it is also not news.
