I want my 5 minutes back. This has got to be one the most asinine threads ever. I kept waiting for the OP to admit he was yanking our chain. Beyond idiotic.

To clarify, the ref clearly called a "roughing the passer" penalty, followed by a brief explanation which was when he said the defensive player "fell with his full weight" on the quarterback. It was basically an unnecessary roughness penalty, which when it's inflicted on the QB is considered "Roughing the passer". By giving the explanation, he is letting the home crowd know what exactly the guy did in his mind that was over the line. Inferred in his explanation is that the guy could've held back from landing on TE with his full body weight, but decided to try to hurt him and get away with it. Good call.

I like the discipline our team showed on Sunday - it looked like a well coached team playing together. They didn't do stupid things to hurt themselves by getting penalties and taking unnecessary risks. It's easy to appreciate the quality of our coaching right after having watched the Raiders tonight. What an undisciplined mess of a football team. GO BILLS!!!
