Josh Reed...Josh Reed...Josh Reed.
We're really missing Brad Butler as well...
-
I don't know if you know but that isn't the basis for our defense. We do a great job of keeping the score low game after game and the offense continues to turn the ball over and score fewer and fewer points.
I agree and if it weren't for some questionable ref calls we have have held them without a TD but if we are giving the ball away we need to take it away. Also Cassell has been horrible under pressure this year and we let him just sit back there and pick us apart.

The game started out with that totally horrid call on Ko Simpson, and went downhill from there. Is it really up to Jauron to challenge that play where the guy was out of bounds on the sideline catch? (Yes, he had plenty of time to challenge). But how about getting it right when it happened?
There was an illegal motion call on us when it was 3rd and 3, and their guy jumped offside. Maybe I am blind, or my t.v. froze, but on the replay I did not see one guy even flinch on our line. That ruined a drive.
The defensive holding call. I've only seen that called on a rare occasion, the biggest one was in the Music City Miracle game, when they called it against us on a missed field goal by the Titans, respotted it, and the Titans rekicked and made the field goal. Today it should've been 4th down, field goal, 3 minutes left and the Bills have a chance.
The onside kick. I think that should've been reviewed. No way does one of those dinosaurs see what happened. Booth review.\
The Pats own the league. There was a game this year v. rams where they were not called for ANY penalties. how is that even possible?
I will say, I don't like to b*tch about refs but when they allow, say Sam Aiken to make contact with our punt returner who is trying to make a fair catch, it might give the Pats an invitation to do anything. That's what angers me about stuff like that. It gives them carte blanche. Esp. when you are throwing ticky tack flags on us like the Simpson hit.
-
It's working fine...our defense really has played winnable football in the past 3 games. Our offense is dreadful and can't put up more than 10 meaningful points.
Pressure = Turnovers. No pressure, no turnovers. Can't win many games if you don't win the turnover battle.
-
Our secondary is a strength. Greer and McGee are solid, Corner looked good, McKelvin even held his own. Simpson makes sure that nothing goes over his head...but these poor guys can't hold coverage for so long. We need to get some rpessure on the QB. Even if we blitz we don't put pressure on the other QB. :wallbash:

Was it ever known if Dick threw the challenge flag on the play that was caught out of bounds by Welker I believe? I think the announcers said he threw the flag but the cameras never actually went to a red flag on the field.
What actually happened?
I mean, that's the problem. The announcers kind of intimated that he did but due to being up the Patriots a**es, they didn't show the outrage that they might have say if we were the Steelers and we were playing, say, the bengals.
-
I agree. But watch out, you're going to get nailed for being positive.
Agreed. We are just too young to overcome injuries at this point. Honestly, give me our full team healthy and I think we can play with anyone. Unfortunately injuries are part of the game.

just broke up a crucial 3rd down pass for the Titans
Who cares...he wouldn't have broken the pass up for us because the opposing qb would have had an hour and a half for the guy to get open.
-
Sadly, we'll win at least 2 of the next 3, maybe all three...then we'll be teased again with the division up again at 8-4, 7-5
-
damn, this game is boring as sin.
Hopefully the crowd continues to sit on their hands and it gives Edwards time to settle down a bit.
-
We are so lax on 3rd down, it makes me sick.
It's easy to find an open man when you have 45 minutes to find one...
-
There is definitely a mind set right now that it might as well be 56-3. I'd feel more comfortable if it was any other team but the Pats are in our heads at this point...hopefully they aren't in the players.
-
We suck pretty hard, but so do the pats. This game shouldn't even be close. We can't pass or run the ball, we can't stop the pass, or get a push from our dline. Yet it's 10-3, mostly because Jauron got gutless. Frustrating crap
Yeah...I'm trying to figure out how we are only down a TD...any theories?
-
Stevie should get more playing time.
-
God, our goalline offense is horrible!
At least run a play towards Hardy...It doesn't matter if he drops it...it's a good as getting stuffed at the line on a run. At least you tried something different and are giving the kid some experience.
-
As soon as Lynch goes lateral i cringe. He's not a burner but he thinks he is.
Should have ran a fade to Hardy...
-
If this whole Team Played with the heart and desire Fred Jackson shows on every Play this Team would be undefeated...
Say what you will about his vision but I would put Marshawn in that category as well. Roscoe too.
-
i am embarrassed, not sad or mad anymore
Tell me about it. Worse part is that I'm in a house with 5 other Pats fans...
-
Right back where We belong I guess...
Less than average...Not quite the worse Team in The NFL at least...
So we've got that going for us...
So it doesn't make us any different from the last two years...
-
Where did the heart go??????
-
Isn't contact on a fair catch a 15 yard penalty?
-
shouldn't Lynch have stayed in to block then?
He would have had a first if Edwards took a little off that pass.
-
BTW who gave up the sack to Seymour?
Dockery
-
I think we are playing the refs not NE .
Honestly I don't want to make this a ref b*tch fest but first play out, tick tack personal foul penalty. I mean, come on, we've lost 9 in a row to these guys...they don't need the extra edge.
Edwards..... Discuss....

You can also blame the line. The problem I see is that he is jittery back there, even when he has time. He has to have confidence in his o_line and they haven't given him much reason to be confident in the past few weeks.
