  1. It's cool. I'm not convinced that Maybin is our pick there. Any insight on him?
  2. I don't think I know what you're saying here about not being able to write. As for the math, I am just going based on what you said dude!
  3. I am unsure what you are trying to say. What I do know, is Hawaii seems like a cool place to visit, not sure I would want to live there.
  4. hahaha, Any chance that they could go back even further and trade up to 8 with us and take Donte Whitner?
  5. Well, if you want me to get more technical about what around here is, I mean 48 of the states of the U.S. and parts of Canada that are the target audience of the draft. If the rest of the world were as important, I would assume NFL Europe would have thrived more and the draft would possibly be held in China or India where there are more people than there are in all of North America.
  6. I thought they already drafted Stafford #1 overall, how could they move up?? Don't worry I know they have the 20th pick as well, just figured it was necessary for someone to make the comment before someone oblivious did.
  7. Unfortunate for you, the people around here outnumber you. 12 pm EST start time is the best time to start the draft IMO.
  8. More than Matt Stafford has and he got $41 million guaranteed for 6 years.
  9. You've started at least 2 threads now stating your feelings, and spread them in nearly every thread involving the draft. Do you have toilet paper with Pettigrew's face on it? Or possibly a dart board with his jersey? As long as you're not sending him threatening messages in the mail with letters you clipped out of magazines, post away.
  10. Casey is going to be the best pass catching TE in this draft IMO. I would like the Bills to get him in the 3rd, but wouldn't mind if they take a chance in the 2nd.
  11. No OT, no thanks. I like your effort, but you are missing glaring needs.
  12. It has nothing to do with past years, it has to do with our needs and the talent that would be available at 11. It also has to do with the needs of other teams and the talent available to the teams between 12-16. IMO, the next place that he may go if we didn't take him is to the Jets at 17, then if he slid to us at 28, we wouldn't pass on him. Does a team draft the RB they like at pick 7 just because Adrian Peterson was drafted there a few years ago?
  13. Anyone who denies that he would be a great pick in the 1st rd is lying to themselves. At 11, the argument can go either way. Personally between pick 17-28 sounds about right to me, and 28 is stretching it.
  14. 1. No negative posts on both draft days. 2. Ralph donates the team to Jim Kelly, Kelly then sells it to a Toronto based buyer.
  15. What's up 2 years ago? Post something like this, expect to be flamed. Welcome to TSW, for being a part of the board for 3 years now, you should have expected it.
  16. If Stafford is available at 11, you take him for sure. If he was available and no one would trade for the 11th spot to get him (which I would highly doubt a team in need of a QB wouldn't) he is by far the best player available in the draft (at that spot). That's like saying because you have Peyton Manning and you have the 11th spot, you don't take Eli Manning at 11 if he is available. I wouldn't want to, as a matter of fact it would suck, but I couldn't pass up arguably the most valuable player in the draft. Saying that, it would never happen, THANK GOD, because I would be the idiot to do it.
  17. Based on the many needs of the Bills, I would say pass at 11 for Pettigrew. If we still had Peters and had a better D line, I would be all for it. Casey in the 3rd round is a great value, not so big on Coffman. If we could get a DE with the first pick, LB/OT with the 2nd 1st, C/G/LB/OT in the 2nd, and Casey in the 3rd, we made huge strides and are more competitive IMO. With the DEs not being as deep, taking Pettigrew at 11 seems more like a great pick for a team more accomplished than our own. BTW, I would love Pettigrew on our team.
  18. Pass at 11. Other good TEs later in the draft.
  19. I personally would like to hold off on a TE and select James Casey later on in the draft. Not exactly sure where he will go, but it won't cost us a first. I would go DE/LB first, DT/OT/Whichever they didn't get with the second first, and select James Casey in the 2nd(ish) round. More than likely to be had in the 3rd, which IMO is a steal.
  20. They should. Brad Riter was the best WGR personality. WGR is almost unlistenable 90% of the day. Thank God for Sirius radio and Brad Riter.
  21. 3rd round pick, unsure of contract.
  22. I don't think you understand trades in the NFL. He is a good running back, but that does not warrant a top 5 pick, maybe not even a 1st rounder. We couldn't get a top 5 pick for Peters, and he is supposed to be elite. Lynch is far from elite. Even if he was, we aren't getting a 1st for him. BTW, he is suspended for the first 3 games, why would someone trade for him with his baggage he carries with him.
