Although I agree with you on some points.. Just because a guy signs for less doesn't make him a better or worse player.. Does Nate Clements become the best defensive back in the league because he got more more money than any of them? No, it just so happens that someone was willing to pay more for that guy. Dielman wanted to play for San Diego so he signed for a contract that fit their situation. Seattle was willing to pay him more btw.

if he wants to and dedicates himself to playing for buffalo, he is useful and valuable.. but if he pulls some of the stuff he has in the past.. he is only worth a 3rd rounder. Doesn't matter where we drafted him, he needs to play with more heart.

the bills need to make improvements, yes, but last year was the 'new' defensive scheme.. give it time. Be a fan, not a fagg.

I think what part of the problem people have with these signings is the teams they are coming from.. Neither team (Washington, Oakland) we necessarily good.. Awful to be quite honest. But, signing players doesn't equal success (i.e. spikes/sam adams/london fletcher/jeff posey/the hamburgler). I could understand the questioning of these signings, as I myself feel skepticism.. But, no matter what any fan says, they don't know if these will help us or not. So, I am going to save my opinions until after the players play.

Only problem with that is you don't pay guys in free agency based on potential.. they get big pay days because they are proven studs.. If this was Tom Donahoe making this deal I would be a lot more worried.. Because it's Marv, I have some faith.
