  1. Linky HONG KONG, China (CNN) -- If you like to search for "music lyrics" or "free" things, you are engaging in risky cyber behavior. And "free music downloads" puts 20 percent of Web surfers in harm's way of malicious software, known as "malware." Here's a safe and free site for music lyrics that I use.
  2. Heyward-Bey is a guy I definitely agree with for the reasons I stated at the start of this thread. I'm also glad to see someone else is hesitant about Ayers too. If Heyward-Bey had 4.5 speed what round do you think he'd have gone in? I'm guessing the third.
  3. I have to admire your dogged persistence.
  4. What a pus sy thing to say. OOops! I just offended my cat?
  5. Thanks, BFF=Best Friend Forever.
  6. I think you can't be the controlling partner.
  7. Is this gonna be another bad dog pun thread? I rish you'd all setter down with those.
  8. All three first round QB's aren't year one starters, IMO, but I think all three will be thrown to the wolves early. I heard somewhere that QB's who come out after their junior seasons have a high bust rate in the NFL.
  9. From the research I just did it sounds like most of his problems are correctable. If TB is willing to sit him for a couple of years first he could turn out great. However, I doubt they do that and throw him in right away and that will probably be a big problem for him.
  10. Carlin was far and away the best. He never stepped back, IMO, he only kept getting better. Jerry Seinfeld is a great observational comedian too but Carlin is light years ahead of any observational comedian out there. He'd also mix in a joke or two. A mushroom?
  11. What are the obvious reasons? Freeman has a lot of votes. I don't know a lot about him so I guess I should learn more.
  12. Nancy Grace is the worst.
  13. The only thing stopping Bo was his injury. The same injury today, IIRC, can be fixed. It would have been awesome to see him continue. Sanders was one of the best players in the NFL. He was a great CB and a great KR. JMO Some other mentions: Jim Thorpe Babe Ruth - (questionable) He also pitched a 20 win season. Rob Johnson (just kidding)
  14. It does exist. "One way or another, I will make sure this team stays here. I know people that are ready to step up," said Kelly. "I think Mr. Wilson has the same vision I have, and that's to keep the team in Western New York." I wonder if Danny Wegman is one of those people?
  15. The only reason an owner can't own another sports team is if it's in a current NFL market. I.E. Jerry Jones couldn't buy the N.Y. Knicks but he could buy the Dallas Mavericks. So Checketts owning the St. Louis Blues isn't a problem as long as he keeps the scRams in St. Louis or moves them to LA. If Checketts buys them then they will probably stay in St. Louis. I don't understand why the league is so horny to put a team in LA. Every NFL team in LA has failed. A friend of mine from California told me there is just too much to do in LA for an NFL team to make it. Linkage Understand the limitations of ownership Make sure you understand the rules of owning a team. Some leagues do not allow ownership based on a prospective owner's non-sports activities. Large ownership groups or publicly traded corporations cannot own a team in the NFL. The NFL also restricts ownership if you own a sports team in another NFL city. Here's an article that goes into detail of how Checketts' ownership group could be put together financially to satisfy league ownership purchasing rules. If the potential Rams ownership group being assembled by Blues Chairman Dave Checketts becomes a reality, at least one member must have very deep pockets - to the tune of more than a quarter of a billion dollars. NFL ownership rules require that a single individual must have total voting and management control of the club. And that person must own at least 30 percent of the team. So get your calculators out, and let's do the math.
  16. Gregg Allman from Family Guy; "I did a lot of drugs and married some chick named Cher. I wouldn't recommend either of them."
  17. IIRC, when I read a book about the making of the Bond films they said that Cubby Brocoli wasn't real happy with Lazenby because he refused to shave his beard for the promo tour and he had other problems with him and didn't ask him to return as Bond.
  18. She's working out a contract to be the spokesperson for Snap-On Tools.
  19. Linkage (CNN) -- Chastity Bono, gay-rights activist and child of performer Cher and the late entertainer and politician Sonny Bono, is in the early stages of transitioning from a female to a male and will be known as Chaz, his spokesman said Thursday. "Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity," Howard Bragman said in a written statement. "He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz's hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his 'coming out' did nearly 20 years ago." I guess Bono can get a boner now.
  20. Palin did Letterman a huge favor by doing this idiocy. I think she made herself look foolish and raised Letterman's ratings for the night. I love how he gets to the joke about her looking like a slutty flight attendant and starts to apologize but says; "No I like that one."
  21. I'm curious too as to why they are doing that now. Sumpin must be up.
  22. If Ellis can be what they expected him to be last year then it could be an awesome defense! First of all it's spelled p-a-i-l and why would Maybin name his pail Arrington?
  23. Is there an article that set you off on this? I agree I'm so sick of this guy I feel like he's my brother in law. Just a joke Vince. I like ya!
