  1. FYI. San Diego is not an "original" AFL team. The original team was the L.A. Chargers. This would be a move "back" to L.A.
  2. Of course you realize that Brohm threw for 146 yards, no touchdowns, two interceptions and a grand total of three points in his only start. Other than that he was great. Objectively speaking, the guy has done nothing in the NFL to give anyone a clue that he will be good. He threw no long passes, the longest was 15 yards including yards after catch. Just because Mel Kiper thought he might go first overall a year before he came out, people think this guy is going to be great. His production has been far less than Ryan or Trent. It's year three coming up and so far he's made the Packers practice Squad and the Bills 3rd string.
  3. ACL recovery time is 6 to 9 months for a reconstruction surgery. Bell had a arthroscopic repair (far less invasive than a reconstruction) done in late November. The Bills thought he would return but put him on IR December 11. I haven't seen any reports of a second surgery, but a scope normally wouldn't have him out 6 to 9 months.
  4. They have said that they can't do it all in one year. So even in they aren't using the "R" word, they are rebuilding. I agree with the point that they should try to get more picks if possible. The other side of that is that this team has zero star power, and no players that need to be gameplanned against. So if they can get an impact player at 9, maybe that's better than filling a extra hole.
  5. Also interesting that Erik Flowers production was consistent with the SackSeeker projections.
  6. The Bills need to address the OLB position whether Schobel retires or not. He's slow and old. I'd trade him for a 4th or 5th.
  7. A QB from Notre Dame Trying to show his great aim His pro day went well His toe didn't swell He went on to NFL fame

  9. Oh, it was a joke. I get it. Well no not really. Where was the funny part again?
  10. Glad to hear Nolan Nawrocki has fans. His last mock in 2009 was by far the most accurate. He did one earlier this year. This is obviously pre-free agency and trades: http://www.profootballweekly.com/2010/01/3...ackles-dominate

  12. I think he will be a bigger part of the offense with Gailey in command.
  13. That was impressive. Thanks for the work.
  14. Interesting theory, but the first player to file that action will play in what league? There will be a draft in 2012 regardless of any lockout. BTW, are college players today parties to the current CBA ?
  15. I agree with this point. Also, if the league and union work out a deal by 3/2011 the following things will happen: 1. The RFA's from this year will be added to the 2011 UFA list and make for a much deeper talent pool 2. There will be a salary cap again 3. Teams that have overspent in 2010 will be wishing they had the cap room to sign someone from that deep free agency pool next year.
  16. You do know there is a big difference between tackles and guards? right?
  17. I'm renewing, and looking to upgrade my four in the McGuire Club.
  18. SO here is the ESPN article. It says nothing about JP: "Adam Schefter Bruce penciled in at No. 1 "Look for Bruce Gradkowski to be the man going into next season. The team respects him, and it responded to him when he played. When Gradkowski was on the field, there was a certain confidence the Raiders had that they lacked when JaMarcus Russell was playing quarterback. My guess is that Gradkowski starts, Russell backs up, and they draft another quarterback to begin grooming for the future." As for the Bleacher Report, anyone can write an article for them and just submit it.
  19. We could use someone to drive Marshawn around. BTW, do you know the following about Stallworth: 2006 traded to the Eagles 2007 entered the league substance abuse program 2007 cut 2007 signed to a 6 year deal by the Patriots 2008 cut 2008 signed by the ever respected Cleveland Browns 2009 DUI manslaughter suspended for the full season 2010 About to be released from Browns Doesn't exactly sound like the kind of character Coach Gailey was talking about... but hey we have heard his name... lets sign him.
  20. Absolutely. Don't forget the 3rd you might get for Marshawn.
  21. I think this is absolutely true, but Levy's defenses were not that good. The Bills secondary today is much stronger than in the 90s. In fact, we went to one Superbowl with the 28th ranked defense (i think is was Dallas part I in Pasadena.) Kelso was horrible. We had the best defensive player in the league, but without Bruce, that defense just wasn't that good. You'll certainly never hear one of their names listed as HOFame possibilities.
  22. Not likely much. It's based upon the difference between what you lose and what you gain in Free Agency. Last year we lost: Royal, Whittle, Greer, Crowell, Losman, Fowler, and Greer. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick WR Terrell Owens OG Richie Incognito C Geoff Hangartner LB Chris Draft CB Drayton Florence
