  1. You'd probably want to supply your own, for obvious reasons.
  2. Recipes have been added. And I agree, when are coming over for dinner? Better yet, you can come to my place and cook, and then we'll watch movies in the basement when we're done! CW
  3. Geez, I go downstairs for an hour to hook all my gear (sans speakers), and come back to this?! CW
  4. Just a reminder that we have a good cookbook here filled with lots of recipes, many of which make great Game Day food! http://www.twobillsdrive.com/cookbook/ I'm particularly fond of the crab filled wontons... CW PS: No rhettata comments allowed in the thread.
  5. Projector = Panasonic AE700 Speakers = Paradigm Studio 40s front, CC470 center, and Studio 20s rear Subwoofer = SVS PB12-Plus/2 Screen = Stewart Filmscreen StudioTek 130 Receiver = Pioneer Elite VSX-74TXVi DVD Player = Panasonic S77S HD Receiver = DirecTV HR 10-250 (HD TiVo, of course!) I have everything but the speakers; they'll be here tomorrow at lunch time Recliners = Berkline 090 (but won't be here for 4-5 weeks... ) Havn't decided on a remote yet, and I better not post about it either or LA will get mad at me I'm leaning toward the Home Theater Master MX850 because I have my equipment in a closet. However, I could do some sort of IR blasting from below the screen into the closet instead... I just don't know yet. CW
  6. Ripoff...? CW
  7. I will when I take pictures tomorrow No problem, although she might want to wait a day or two until I get my speakers setup properly She has to pay admission as well (one Firefly cap... ). I'm pretty sure one of our two cats will take care of the puking part... I'm still trying to figure out what movie to watch first. I'm leaning towards Saving Private Ryan, but I'm open to recommendations - I want something with maximum video AND audio impact CW
  8. DONE!!!!! Woohoo!!! I'll need to take some pictures tonight. Soon, I'll be holed up in the basement watching movies and playing games all day. To make matters even better, my wife was just offered a new job with a sizable raise. More money to buy movies! CW
  9. I got mine on the 13th OH well, so their marketing department is a bit lacking... CW
  10. Since the room isn't a full 100 yards, I have projectors built under the carpet to display different yard markers. When you run across the "field," the numbers change based on your speed. CW
  11. The webpage name is an alias, so everyone doesn't come to my place. CW
  12. There's no talk about buying carpet, buying equipment, or anything like that. It's just a LAMP. Besides, you have no proof that I'm the one doing it. CW
  13. All, I don't do many LAMP posts, but I"m SOO excited right now! The carpet installers are downstairs laying the carpet right this second. Once they're done, the basement is FINISHED! All I need to do is wait for the recliners (4-5 weeks... ), get the speakers (tomorrow!) and a new remote control and I'm DONE! :( Can't wait to start watching movies down there! (and Bills games in HD! ) CW
  14. If a local channel is showing the game, you'll have to watch it on the local channel, and not the ticket. If none of the local channels are showing the game, then it will be available on the Ticket. This is a lame rule they impolemented last year after the local markets started complaining that they were losing advertising revenues because nobody was watching the local feeds. It sucks, but nothing you can do CW
  15. That's a topic for another thread... CW
  16. Yeah, him too. CW
  17. My condolenses. We have two cats (one of which always greets us, just like yours), and I can't imagine losing one of them. CW
  18. DirecTV is available across the entire United States, and many parts of Canada (although illegal in Canada). The "I have trees" excuse is lame; even with trees, you can generally get DirecTV. Just ask Nervous Guy, whom I fought with for many months to convince him that he could indeed get DirecTV, even with his trees. Guess who was right? CW
  19. I get asked that a lot (usually via PM), so I documented the process at the end of my original post on the Trading Post. CW
  20. Yes, at some point. No timeline yet. CW
  21. It's questionable. However, it's more legal than this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Buffalo-Bills-vs-Houst...1QQcmdZViewItem and this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Super-Bowl-25-Giants-v...1QQcmdZViewItem and this: http://cgi.ebay.com/playoff-video-1990-Bil...1QQcmdZViewItem If the NFL doesn't care about people making a profit off of eBay, I doubt they'll care about someone giving games out to Bills fans at cost (although tips are greatly appreciated ) CW
  22. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=9546&st=0 The game is done. I wasn't able to include any special features this time around (like the Mularky pregame show, or the 6 Days To Sunday special) because the game ran longer than most and I already had to do a little compression to make it fit (can't wait until dual layer disks are affordable!). I'll try to do all of the Bills wins at the very least this season, so if people want to hold off and wait for more games from this year, feel free. PM me with any questions. CW
  23. Ok, I'll answer. You CAN buy the games on a PPV basis. However, they cost $20/each (or maybe $30, I don't remember). There was a class action lawsuit several years back and that's what the courts decided. So once again, the only people who benefit are the lawyers... It's not a very widely advertised option (mainly because it's dumb), but it is there if you want it. Otherwise, you're out of luck. CW
  24. So, do you frequently walk into Wal-Mart and ask the manager, "So, where are Target, K-Mart, and Shopko? I really like Wal-Mart, but I heard that there's other stores to shop in." Sheesh. CW
