I am not sure if this is sarcastic or not. We’ve been hearing whispers of what a douche Russ is in Seattle for a bit now. Now he’s calling Seattle plays at the Denver line of scrimmage.

The Denver job seems like a giant mess. I would stay far far away if I was serious about being a HC.

I agree with you. Also, how much does he actually need to be a HC at this point in his career?

Why? To be in charge? Win a Super Bowl? Money?

He’s 63 and the DC of a consistently top flight defense and in the mix for the SB the last few years. I don’t get what Denver offers somebody like Frazier. It seems like a miserable position for anybody well established in the league.

It offers him a shot though, right?

To have success as a Head Coach is the ultimate win, it's what virtually every coach wants and my understanding is that Frazier is no different, and I don't blame him for a second. He's not necessarily going to have his pick of multiple jobs here if he even does get an offer.

Makes sense to me, he'll build up the run game. There's no real fixing Wilson, you salvage him the best you can and work around him. The defense is good, run the ball, run screens, play action, get him easy throws to those good WRs and throw jump balls whenever they're singled, hope to win 10 or 11.

The Broncos do have talent on their roster, Hackett was such a poor choice that it gives you just a little hope. It sucks being tied to Wilson but it's still a somewhat better job than the Houston Texans last year. You're saddled with suboptimal QB play but you do have talent to work with.

Damn this feels like it won't end well.  There's a lot of blame to go around here and tua holds some, but I feel bad for him and he will pay the most of it doesn't end well

The dolphins should send him to a wrestling school. They can focus on how to take a bump without hitting his head to the ground!

If Morse winds up having issues the way easier fix is to move Bates to center and find a guard. But we need two because Saffold is very bad right now. He was jumping the snap count on almost every play because that is how bad his pass pro is. But Morse has been excellent so I hope he is okay.

FA centers include Rodney Hudson, Connor McGovern, Garrett Bradbury, Scott Quessenberry (David’sbro). FA guards include Justin Pugh, Issac Seumalo, Wes Schweitzer, Eldgton Jenkins, Dalton Risner, Nate Davis, David Edwards (ram).

In the short term they need to look at John Simpson. He visited the Ravens after clearing waivers. I have seen nothing else. He would be a nice fit adding youth and strength to that interior.

Wow Dalton Risner is a free agent? I didn't realize he wasn't working out.

Is there a trick to cast Twitch to a Google Chromecast, anyone know? This is my first time trying to watch on twitch my prime membership just ended. I can't get it to cast to my TV.

I couldn't get it to cast either.

Per the bold, and he’s made a multitude of huge plays since he got here. Big time plays. Sure, he benefits greatly from playing with Josh and who wouldn't, but Davis has made plays that stand out and setting a record in the playoffs on the road doesn’t hurt his credibility, either.

I wish Davis was more of a role player. There are some bits he's good at, I know they like him as a blocker and he's a good deep threat. But he certainly doesn't attack all three levels of the field, he gives nothing in RAC, he's not a chain-mover, inconsistent in the intermediate range. He's a fine piece but I don't know why they've neglected the WR position early in the draft the last 2-3 years. The slot being hot and cold also, it sure feels like the unit is missing a certain something.

Nope.  Ryan was so bad they went to a 6th round QB who performed to his draft status.

It should have slapped Ryan in the face to get his act together.

That last drive sure didn't prove he can still be a decent NFL QB.

Going to Ehlinger was the eccentric owner's call and it went horribly. Saturday immediately set it right. They have a bad offense and it's not always going to be pretty. Ryan is mediocre at this point but it can be worse, and was.

And tagging in here.  Here's a screen shot from the TNF "Prime Vision" option Turner put up.

This IMHO totally illustrates what some of us are saying about Dorsey's play design.  Three receivers are running routes 10-15 yds from the LOS at this point, and are pretty well covered.  Allen has always, all his career, looked PAST the 1st down marker.  So he's been throwing to one of these guys, trusting his arm and forcing the throw at times. (Spoiler: two of the receivers are running deep crossers and Diggs, I think it is, eventually blows past his guy and comes open downfield.  Given time, those routes do work)

But it's not that he doesn't have options.  He's got Knox (I think) who has chipped and released and has no one within 10 yds of him.  Then he has Cook, who this time (thank you!) makes the right move to find the throwing lane, catches the ball, and gains about 12 YAC for a nice 14 yd pickup and the 1st down.

If this is how we're going to play offense I wouldn't expect Devin Singletary back. You can see why it was so important to them to have good checkdown options who catch smoothly and have the explosiveness to get up the field. Allen probably should have been checking down more than he was at times throughout the year but he's not going to feel good about doing that if the backs are not efficient on their end.

Previously the Bills made money in the intermediate area, now it's more deep or checkdown than it was. Hopefully Cook continues to show out, it's important that draft pick works out for us.
