Signing ancient players like Emmanuel Sanders and John Brown are not playmakers type moves either.
Filling a premium position with non-premium assets.

Bright side for Derm, may land on his feet if Wink Martindale retires.

Go Bills!!!! Win!

Jacksonville should really play loose and as a team with nothing to lose. No one expects them to win. Bust out every crazy play you have in your playbook Throw in a fake punt. Just go for broke.
Sounds like Doug Pederson football.

Some day he should be Legend of the Game. Against the Titans.

I hadn’t seen much of the Cowboys this season but was really impressed with Prescott tonight. So poised and smooth.
Good QBs on weird teams that don't win get underrated. Like Stafford in Detroit.

That's a beautiful ball from Brady.

This is the first year I've thought Tremaine Edmunds was a quality starter in the league, and that includes when he made the Pro Bowl early on. I'm surprised and impressed —he has clearly worked hard on his game and has finally won me over.

Yes, working that short passing game will do that and the fact that his team doesn’t run the ball very well
Anybody that watch Bradys games you can see that the drop off is there next year he’s just gonna be a year older
If there is such a clear visual dropoff it's certainly not his arm. The ball still comes out of his hand with fire.

I'm thinking of going to the game with my old man. Haven't been to one in years. He definitely can't stand for three straight hours. Does basically the whole stadium stand for the entire game or is that just certain sections?
My experience of club level years ago was everyone sits and chills, lots of older people.

Offense hasn’t looked in sync since the bye. Wish we were a little more creative in scheming guys open. Seems like a lot of the big plays are due to Allen scrambling around and buying time for guys to get open.
Yes it seems like it's always Allen going off script because he doesn't find anyone in the initial concept.

Ok pro. He’s been in the league for years and hasn’t done much. He’s an average at best QB. You keep running with your knowledge I’m sure it’s served you well so far champ.
Keep callin' me champ, I dig that. 😘

Hahaha. Why? Is Carr suddenly a good QB?
He's been a good QB for a long time.
Matthew Stafford was a good QB on the Lions, too.
I get it, you're a casual fan, you can't tell they're good until the team goes on a run and it reaches out and bonks you on the nose.

Do you really trust Derek Carr as a starting QB? He can play brilliantly but he can also play ….um, not brilliantly
Yes. He played consistent quality football for years despite playing for a weird franchise, until they hired McDaniels.
He's been in the WCO his whole career, they hired McDaniels and had him learn the Erhardt-Perkins system and playcalling language. Get him away from the mercurial McDaniels and back into the WCO and there is every reason to expect high-level play.

I'd have to disagree on the Jets' offensive talent statement.
I like Breece Hall, Michael Carter, and Zonovan Knight at RB, Elijah Moore and Corey Davis (behind Garrett Wilson) at WR, I like Tyler Conklin and Uzomah at TE, and they have several legit offensive linemen (Brown, Tomlinson, Fant) plus Alijah Vera-Tucker is looking very good and I have not written off Mekhi Becton either.
All the Jets need is a QB.
If they get Derek Carr they'll be a tough foe next year.

Agreed Giants own the 6 seed no matter what. I think only Patriots, Dolphins, Jaguars and Steelers if they win tonight have a shot at the 7 seed in the AFC and the 5 and 6 spot are up in the air for the chargers, ravens and bengals
Looks like Big Blue can take a bye week against Philly next week—not the best thing for my SF NFC Winner bet but I'm glad to see Dabes in this position.

Yes. He is.
Guys like Carr and Prescott and Matthew Stafford get slept on, playing high-level football for years but stuck on franchises that don't win big.

How would the Giants fall to 7 seed, who would pass them?

I am not sure if this is sarcastic or not. We’ve been hearing whispers of what a douche Russ is in Seattle for a bit now. Now he’s calling Seattle plays at the Denver line of scrimmage. The Denver job seems like a giant mess. I would stay far far away if I was serious about being a HC.
I agree with you. Also, how much does he actually need to be a HC at this point in his career?
Why? To be in charge? Win a Super Bowl? Money?
He’s 63 and the DC of a consistently top flight defense and in the mix for the SB the last few years. I don’t get what Denver offers somebody like Frazier. It seems like a miserable position for anybody well established in the league.
It offers him a shot though, right?
To have success as a Head Coach is the ultimate win, it's what virtually every coach wants and my understanding is that Frazier is no different, and I don't blame him for a second. He's not necessarily going to have his pick of multiple jobs here if he even does get an offer.

Makes sense to me, he'll build up the run game. There's no real fixing Wilson, you salvage him the best you can and work around him. The defense is good, run the ball, run screens, play action, get him easy throws to those good WRs and throw jump balls whenever they're singled, hope to win 10 or 11.
The Broncos do have talent on their roster, Hackett was such a poor choice that it gives you just a little hope. It sucks being tied to Wilson but it's still a somewhat better job than the Houston Texans last year. You're saddled with suboptimal QB play but you do have talent to work with.
For one day, you are the Boss: what you do ?

The coaching staff would get canned. I'd probably hire Ben Johnson or Sean Payton.
I'd need to take have a serious talk with Beane and get a sense for how much of neglecting the offense around Josh Allen over the last 3 years is on him.
