If we make it to 9-3, we're very well set up to go 11-4. In that final stretch, I think we'll get the Raiders game, but I'm also not completely writing off our chances against the Packers. I don't think they match up well against us. That would put us at 11-4 going in to Foxboro.

Again...it's three days rest for them too. "Travelling?" It's what? A two hour flight from Buffalo to Miami? Also, they're "travelling" back from Detroit that Sunday, too. The logistical considerations are a push. Also, with regards to their rankings vs. ours, their schedule is about to get a whole lot meatier. While they've gone 3-3 since their week one win over New England, those wins have come against the hapless, rapidly deteriorating Bears, Jaguars and Raiders.

You know who else it's a short week for? The team/quarterback that's 0 for their last 3 tries against us.

I take it you were among the posters heralding how close our 6-10 records were to being 11-5's?

may be he contributes a "bit" extra. but i think his contributions are woefully overstated by those who'd rather draw the connection between his involvement and their shortcomings.

This notion that Marrone "runs" the Oline is a very curious critique to me.

A good team (with a good OLine) tips its hand and still picks up tough yards. May be that's just the Pete Bell in me talking.

The Bills have three wins that suggest otherwise. I get that they have to play better against better teams. But the defense had a major breakdown to give up a late TD against the Pats* and the long TD into the endzone to Tym was just kinda flukey. Also, I contend that with Aaron Williams in the backfield that day, it would have been a different story. Duke Williams was entirely out of his element. So, while I understand we're allowing a very thin margin for error, I challenge your implication that the D's not up for it.
