  1. So...then...how is that the coach's fault? If we agree that it's not a poor offense, just a poor redzone offense and that that limitation is reflective of our QB's traits...then...how? How is that a coaching blunder?
  2. Did you just...agree? With me? Actually it didn't happen. Pass, run, run, pass, PASS, pass, PASS. Nowhere in there are six straight passes. CAPS for bad throws, should have been TD's.
  3. False. It's been a subpar REDZONE offense. It's the REDZONE that's our buggaboo. I don't get it either. But to say we have systemic OFFENSE issues, I argue that's false. I feel like arguments like these are much better had in person, in real time. If only there was a recording of me doing precisely that... hmmmmm.... https://soundcloud.com/bills-and-beers/week-12-miami-review-new-york-jests-preview /shame
  4. Except it's the redzone offense that's keeping us from being 7-3 right now. Everything else is working well enough for us to be...7-3. SEVEN AND THREE. We're a mere inches away from SEVEN AND THREE. We're a Chandler/Brown double fumble from 6-4. If it wasn't for the REDZONE OFFENSE, we'd have very VERY little to B word about.
  5. And to wit, the final drive of the KC game was: Pass (9) yards, followed by two runs (for a total of one yard). Followed by four throws into the endzone, two of which were open.
  6. I gave you very simple metrics to prove that the RESULTS you're bitching about are a consequence of the things you claim them to be. I'll wait. Well, the first thing never happened. And if even it did happen the way you said it did, you mean to tell me that on two of those passes where receivers were running wide open in the endzone and the QB just missed them...that's...the coach's fault? Okay. It's clear you're willing to reassess your assumptions. Also, two plays in two games does not three plays make.
  7. Well, you have your hunches, others have theirs. None of us have spent a second in a film room. We have no !@#$ing clue what the atmosphere in the coaching booth on gameday is like. If Orton audibles we have no way of knowing. And NOBODY can say with a straight face that execution has been flawless. So...you know, putting the honus on US to prove that he's good? That's silly. There have been an AWFUL lot of assumptions made to determine he's bad. Trust what your eyes tell you, fine. But don't profess to know they see the whole story. I certainly don't.
  8. If it's as bad as everyone says, between the two games, name five bad play calls and three scaredy cat decisions.
  9. Did you have a stroke or something? When did you go from TSW's brightest ray of sunshine to its most cantankerous griper?
  10. About 5 inches and 30 pounds over the norm with a waist 6 inches smaller. I like me.
  11. Being in the opposition party is easy. All you get to do is fling **** around and call everyone a horse's ass. Believe it or not, there's a grey area between that (you) and a guy who thinks Marrone is Lombardi incarnate. Just because i'm not slamming my fists into my keyboard to smear the guy, doesn't mean I think he's anything special. He's not. He's also not NEARLY has ****ty as the mob would have you believe.
  12. You're going to refer to a 9-3 lead as a "blown" lead...to make you point?
  13. Well, it wasn't 2 games at home against AFC East opponents. It was one. And now it's looking like it will be zero.
  14. I think we've found our solution. Terry's building the world's biggest helicopter as we speak.
  15. I think the point has been made, yes. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/173391-the-snow-gods-have-spoken-build-a-dome-stadium/page__st__20#entry3342617 Exactly. Why AREN'T the Bills dropping cross country skis from helicopters surrounding the 10 mi radius? Terry is cheap.
  16. Ah yes, fast and loose with OPM.
  17. Yeah but in this case, it sucks when you have a dome you can play in but no driveable roads to access it.
  18. “I encourage Coach to be aggressive and just believe in the defense,” Williams said. “I tell myself this and I joke about it, but sometimes I really mean it. I feel like if we can’t make a fourth-and-1, we shouldn’t be able to win that game. Fourth-and-1 is literally just taking one step.” But it’s a step Marrone isn’t often willing to take. Maybe it’s not always fourth-and-1, but there have been numerous examples of him playing it safe in circumstances that cry out for a bold move. Punting on fourth-and-6 from Miami’s 47, down by 10 points with 9:55 left in the game, for one." Marrone's not willing to go for it on Fourth and One, just like that time he didn't go for it on Fourth and Six. Please.
  19. I see. So he's either exceptional or he's microwaved cat vomit. Don't fans have enough sensationalism shoved down their throats from the media? Why must we circulate it ourselves!?
  20. You spend an awful lot of time on a message board devoted to a team you hate.
  21. Yeah. Some guy on the Internet rehashing what he heard some guy say on Candian radio. Meanwhile, there has been ZERO mention of this from loc or national news sources actually covering the story as it develops. Turn off the radio, flip on Twitter. This link will help: https://twitter.com/BillsandBeers/lists/bills-media
  22. So when Watkins was running free to the endzone and Orton overthrew him, that was a ****ty play call? Also, the only people calling Marrone an "offensive guru" are the ones attempting to use the label against him. And, you're right, the coaching staff is buried in ineptitude. Yeah. Crossman and Schwartz, two total bums this year.
