Tasker is terrible. If the Bills have a great play he very quickly has to point out a mistake by the opposing team as the only reason that the Bills were successful. If the opposing team has a great play he points out how Buffalo made a mistake. His desire to not look like a homer makes him probably the least objective announcer I've ever heard. He sucks.

Would you say the same thing to Dick Jauron? The missed tackles are inexcusable as is the predictable conservative play calling. If the Bills lost yesterday everyone would be calling for Jauron's head. BTW, where in my original post do I make any mention of injuries as the reason for the Bills win? It was a hard fought game but the Bills should have taken this one by at least 10 points.

Agreed, yesterday was close and most here are letting their happiness over the win erase a few very obvious problems. 1. Play calling, only 1 shot taken down field the entire game. The Jags were aware of this and were playing heavily in the box and stopped Marshawn very effectively. Up until the deep completion to Evans the only difference between this year and last was the use of the screen pass as a check down option. Poor Edwards was resembling Kelly Holcomb by the 4th quarter, unleash this kid and let him throw it around a bit, at least it'll spread the defense. 2. Fundamental tackling: how many missed tackles were there in yesterdays game by the Bills? The Bills failed to wrap up ball carriers and Garrard on numerous occasions thus making this game much closer than it should have been.

He got a 5 year deal to begin with, wait until year 4 for an extension assuming playoffs this year and next. Had the Bills lost yesterday it would have been a fine example of Jauron getting out-coached yet again and most of us (myself included) would be calling for his head.

Thank you for presenting a slice of reality. Stroud played amazing last week there is no question. We should all put into perspective though that it was his first game on a new team in front of an outstanding crowd. Yes he certainly has something to prove let's just hope that he consistently proves it.

Good response and well taken but you don't have to convince me that JP is a bust here in Buffalo, "Edwards is the better QB" as I typed in my second sentence. IF JP leaves Buffalo (I kind of wonder if he won't think long and hard about staying as a backup given that there was no reported interest in him at all this offseason) and ends up in a good system he has a chance to become a starter.

I will always feel that Losman's career was hindered by the coaches/GM's and owner of the Buffalo Bills. Edwards is the better QB IMO but Losman certainly could have become a reliable starter in this league had he not been pulled in every direction.
