  1. more running - no huddle = 3 pts, despite the penalties. a glimmer of hope.
  2. Good point. I guess what I'm saying makes more sense if you substitute "Kelly Clarkson" with "Sports League". In comparison to all other leagues, The NFL is in a class by itself.
  3. By that logic, you have to blame a Burger King manager because an employee was caught bathing in the sink, or fire a principal because a teacher is caught molesting a kid. I can't see a different analogy.
  4. extremely effective product - makes money hand over fist, replaced the national past time. What more do you need to measure by?
  5. lol, i just read it and it seems like I'm a Jauron apologizer. He definitely can make better adjustments during games, and stress mental discipline in games to cut down on stupid penalties - far from great, but then again he's not the one checking down, or getting torched by the same play twice in a row for TDs.
  6. I'm not nearly as critical of Jauron as most are either. To me, you can only do so much as a head coach. It's not like we're getting blown out every game either, and he's limited by what he has out on the field. He bears some blame, but not nearly as much as is sent his way.
  7. Oh Jesus... Wrong publicity, maybe it'll get Ralph to listen, but just in poor taste
  8. Got it. People really pointed to wideouts as the answer? Doesn't make much sense to me, but then again, I'm a man of reason.
  9. The quick answer is Ralph doesn't owe us anything. I get the point though. If Ralph wants to make the most money he can with this team, then he needs to put a winning product on the field. Coaching is important, but not just the head - we need coordinators, skill position coaches, conditioning coaches, the works. That is the job of a GM. Above all, Ralph Wilson needs to hire a quality GM and stop interfering with team affairs.
  10. Everyone knows that we need to start at GM and work our way on down long term, but for now running the ball has not been dreadful. Bench Dilfer, I mean Edwards, ditch the no-huddle, and run the ball (I prefer Jackson). This time tested strategy has the pleasant side effect of allowing our defense to rest a little, and can actually improve our passing game overall.
  11. Or the Whoopi Goldberg impersonation gig in Vegas.
  12. I don't think the board server has enough memory to hold all posts it would take to comprehend and fix the problems we have right now.
  13. wow, talk about a litmus test for us. The Clowns put us up a notch on the suck-o-meter.
  14. We must be the only team in the league where D coordinators stack 8 in the box to stop our PASSING game. That says more to me than any stat could.
  15. How about the first kickoff - it was all downhill from there
  16. I think Big Ben and Aaron Rogers disprove this theory...
