My guess is they brought him here to take over for Buddy in a few. Buddy is 70 so ......................

I am really hoping if the first players in your draft declare one of them ends up in Buffalo . I would really like jones or wilson in round two. I want to get bigger in stronger in teh front 7 . Stocker falls to the 4th that would be a great pick
-
Two way of thinking
1 Thank the lord he isn't coming out the Bills were so close and except for winning a few meaningless games he would be coming to Buffalo
2 Sh t that means one of the Defense guys the bills want might not make it to three
we shall see

Swap Aldon Smith for one of these Dudes:
Ryan Kerrigan
Travis Lewis
Cameron Heyward
Martez Wilson
Allen Bailey
Drake Nevis
Corey Liuget
Bruce Carter
And Roy Helu for one of these guys:
Andre Branch
Casey Matthews
Lee Ziemba
Pat Devlin
And I'm happy
I love love Moffit, I think he makes Gabe Carimi look better.
Moffit, Levitre and Wood is not only a great name for an 80s electronica band it is a world class interior Offensive Line, that would be the best G\C\G combo in the NFL bar none.
I would like wilson in round two
-
would do it in a heartbeat, but sadly will never happen

Let's shoot the trainers and the water boys while were at it?
PTR
they will get there it is only january

pretty sure Chan said he doesn't expect any coaching changes
-
He does not make the pick . He sets the board and lets the powers make the pick. If they reach or make a mistake it is not his fault. Clearly he sets a good draft board when you see how many late round and undrafted players make the team.

Both writers at cbs sports have the Bills taking Cam

Looks like Mr Farve is in more hot Water . this passage is interesting .
http://abcnews.go.co...ory?id=12531048
The suit alleges that the Jets' locker room and training camp are "a hot bed of sexual harassment, sexism and inappropriate behavior."
They describe the majority of the team's massage therapists as young women.
"I suspect that this case is only the tip of the iceberg with respect to the harassment and discrimination experienced by women working for NFL teams and their players as well as all of men's professional sports. I hope that Ms. Scavo's and Ms. O'Toole's courage to bring this suit will empower other women to come forward without fear of retaliation and retribution in order to protect their livelihoods and self-respect," Eilender said in a statement to ABC News.
The jets are a classy bunch
sorry in advance to stl bob

For what it is worth , one of the draft guru's said he had the highest grade of any cb in years.
-
SEC seems to me to be miles ahead of the rest of Coll football. I would take any of the above
just please figure out a way to stop teams from running for 200 yards everyweek
-
To get the number one overall. Swap first rounders with the Panthers throw in Lee evans and next years 3rd. That should be enough...Throw Maybin in too. That is plenty.
please
the price will be this year 1 and 2 and next years 1 . Not that they would trade it anyway
-
lots of potential suitors. I could see the Rams going Ditka for that pick
no one will ever go Ditka agan but I get your point. Cleveland might want to move up a few slots as well
-
So many turnovers that it is hard to say where the offense stands. As a fan though I really think they should use what ever resources they can to stop the Run. I can't take another year of teams running the ball down the Bills throats at will.
-
I think he has always been involved with 4/3 teams. plus I doubt he settles for less then a Head coaching job so soon.
A coach of Fox's calibre is most likely going to move on to another HC position, depending on the number of vacancies. The failure in Carolina was as much an ownership/management issue as it was coaching. The Panthers (much like the Bills) sat on their hands during FA, while there were many glaring holes to fill. Jerry Richardson's inactivity was influenced by the possible looming lockout.
As far as our DC goes, I think we definitely need an upgrade. GE was in over his head from day 1, but isn't that par for the course with this organization? The big question is... would Chan Gailey be willing to sacrifice his hand selected guy after just 1 season. My guess would be no.
I wonder if Edwards was best available guy they could find last year or the guy Chan really wanted. With the Rumor of 11 teams changing coaches they will be a lot of Coaches and staffs available . This answer should come in the next week or two
-
My guess is, he is used all over the D line next year bases on matchup , down and distance. Passing downs he is in the middle for sure. Eitehr way if Troupe develops and they end with an anchor D end in the draft to join Carriington and Edwars they should turn a weekness into a plus unit. By the way I am all for bringing in the Miamy Nt as well. Chan sure seems to like him .

Get ready for Rich rod in pittsburgh

The other thing that irritates me to no end about the Maybin situation, is why can't he isn't at least a Special Teams stud. While thats small consolation for an 11th overall pick... he could at least be Mark Pike or Josh Stamer?? For crying out loud, we have safeties and CBs covering on ST, he wouldn't be an upgrade over that??
good point , this stuff a freaking disaster
-
It's obvious that they were all lying and the only one that was really behind the pick at all was Dick Jauron who had his own surreptitious draft board. A sea of fans wearing fellow Nittany Lion Posluszny jerseys probably escaped all notice as well.
Dicky j and his love for all thing undersized and fast / hopefully with one more off season we can't put all of his damage in the rearview mirror .
Talley was also a 2nd round pick. Tasker was waiver pick up. Still your point is correct. Horrific drafting in the first round (and even rounds 2 and 3 for that matter) have kept the team down.
I sure hope we don't add McKelvin to that ponderous list ...
Mckelvin at least show flashed of ability , hopefully he can take his skill set and turn in more consistant profomances. I just don't know what th think about Maybin, looks like a total disaster.
Another thing about Maybin seems to me with two full years of weight traing ect. he could have put on 10-15 lbs . I just don't get it he looks a slim as ever. Not saying that is the only problem but at least the bulk and strength would give him an add deminsion
but what the heck do i know
-
One of the things Marty shot [Ed: Schottenheimer] said in teh Peter King interview was that Buddy pushed hard for Merriman on draft day . I agree with the poster who said low risk high reward. Thye are due for a break don't you think
On the Maybin front , makes me sick that it looks like he is going to be a total bust. I know he is young but two years and he can't get on the field. Know sense cutting him until next August, perhaps the light goes on somehow . What a shame
still wearing his Bills hat on his twitter page. hmm

Stop it and grow up.
Do you go out of your way to find this crap?
I would like to see a website of Rex pounding the daylights out of you.

the one thing everyone says about Buddy is he is a great evaluater of talent. With the number three pick he will not screw it up .
