  1. Well, he's made it to the Super Bowl, so....I don't really put last night on him. The Lion's gameplan was crap (should have leaned much heavier on Gibbs, who Washington never stopped), the defense played poorly, and as I said, I think he was not all there after Luvu's illegal hit... Well, everything around him in Detroit is good...and should be for the foreseeable future...Great O-line, a top 2 or 3 RB, outstanding receivers, etc.
  2. I think Goff's brain was scrambled the second half of that game...he had a very good year.
  3. The blocker hit him in chin with the crown of his helmet...penalty. It was also a borderline blindside block, which I believe is illegal on a return.
  4. I'm not sure how they would do that this year...there aren't a lot of great QBs available on the open market and they will be drafting late in the first round.
  5. Here's another thing to think about: Guys like Stroud, Nix and Daniels are playing really well out of the gate, which gives the team an even bigger "rookie QB contract window"...As great as Josh is, he didn't become a top level QB until the third year of his rookie deal, when he was already extension-eligible...
  6. The idea that these older QB prospects (Nix, Penix, Daniels, etc), who have spent many years playing college football, are somehow degraded assets is an antiquated view. You’re signing these guys to four-year contracts…who cares if they’re 28 or 29 when their contract’s up?
  7. Irving was my sleeper pick…having watched all his college games, I knew his game was going to translate well…
  8. Why would the NFL want that when Bills-Chiefs has been by far the most iconic matchup of the past five years?
  9. I’ve been hoping that Brady has been saving that for a game like this, because the lack of first down (and 2nd and short) play action has been my biggest criticism of him this year.
  10. We got the biggest call of the game against the Chiefs last year when Hardman fumbled through the endzone…it was extremely close and IMO not enough to overturn the “down by contact” call on the field. If that call goes the other way, game over. We got other big calls that day, too
  11. Kincaid has hardly been awful…you may have noticed that, for a multitude of reasons, none of the Bills’ receivers has had a statistically impressive year…it’s a hard position to learn in the NFL
  12. I wonder if this game ends differently if it’s played outdoors in Michigan …do Northern dome teams forfeit some part of their home field advantage in the playoffs by playing in cushy indoor environments?
  13. Me too…except when they beat the Pats
  14. Yeah, they definitely outplayed Detroit
  15. Philly is the only NFC East team we haven’t played in the Super Bowl…
  16. Washington could very well be in the Super Bowl. I’d love to see them play the Rams next week.
  17. I thought Stroud showed a lot character today…very tough environment, with hostile refs, bad weather and no weapons—and he hurt his knee early in the game. He threw a lot of great passes—several of which were dropped—and had some nice runs too.
  18. Five turnovers was the problem…
  19. Tends to happen when you have receivers out there who literally hadn’t taken a snap in the NFL. Look I’m no Stroud fan, but I thought he played pretty well today. They were in game until late in the fourth quarter.
  20. Stroud did a good job with what he had.
  21. Houston had no receivers left, besides Collins. Very different than Washington.
  22. This kicker is going to cost Washington at some point.
  23. This entire series courtesy of a phantom call by a blind zebra
  24. Gotta review these BS personal fouls
  25. He’s right behind the Big Four…
