🤦‍♂️ I admire the OPs gusto. But.. this game is HUUUGELY monumental. Post-game, should we win, we’ll find ourselves in complete control of the AFCE at just the midway point of the season. You have to go back 32 years to ‘88 for comparison (clinched the Division in week 11). Yes, it’s vs the Brady-less Patriots*, but they’ve OWNED the Division and -for the most part- the LEAGUE throughout this century. Drive the silver dagger into their ghoulish hearts and retrieve the sword from the stone! Slay the dragon! GET IT DONE!

As a member of the geriatric set, I’ve known fantastic Bills teams from the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s & ‘90s. The bad lean seasons are easier to cope with knowing life rolls in cycles. Granted, this recent lean cycle has left a Mark, but I knew we’d eventually be back. We are Back.

For the sake of discussion, let’s say we win Sunday. That will give us a winning record in Division play -which is rarified breathing air. Transcribed over 16 games is 12-4. With a 7th playoff team per Conference, -at this time- Pittsburgh gets the lone AFC bye while KC, Tenn & us have a Home game Week 1 on WC weekend. That’s all it promises. The remaining seeding is based on best surviving records. Figure us to have the least favorable Conference record which means the other 2 true WC teams would have to win to get another Home game. Crazy how a 12-4 record has diminished so dramatically in the new format. We once had a 12-4 record carry us Home to the Super Bowl. 😳
