They must have called in to say no on digs catch before the half. It sucks that they don't reward an outstanding play by a super star athlete , what a catch

Or more like what is a catch?

I was watching that part of the game without sound, and it didn't look like an in-bounds catch to me (spectacular, but not in bounds)...but they kept replaying it over and over, like there was a chance it was...? Can someone explain that? It didn't look close to me.

  2. I guess I'm pretty much the only person who didn't have a huge problem with that block. I rewatched it and it looked to me like the guy initiated the block as Andrews was running alongside him. It looks like a block in the back because Andrews is running past him, so as he initiates contact, his hand is on his back right shoulder and it appears like he pushes into his back. But to me, it was contact initiated when they were side-by-side as Andrews was speeding past him. Close enough to me, I guess.

And neither has happened the last two weeks (NE & Miami).

How did he get sacked 7X's?

Our offensive line is a huge liability, much greater than it seems because of Josh's ability to escape from trouble. But obviously (as yesterday) he's not always able to do so.

Right now, we could use upgrades at three positions—both G and RT. Either that, or get them to figure things out. Right now, they are just killing us.

Because teams put a spy on him. The Dolphins did. But no one expects Daniel Jones to run.

Seems to me that dedicating a man to spy on Josh should either (1) reduce the pass rush pressure on him, or (2) leave someone open downfield. Feels like we should be able to take greater advantage of it than we are.

I don't care if the Bills win by 1 or 100 as long as they win.

That said, I see an absolutely epic beat down of the Dolphins coming this Sunday.

Skylar Thompson is at QB and their offensive line is in complete shambles.

This is gonna be so much fun to watch.

True, but as I recall, we were saying the same thing about Zach Wilson and his offensive line right before our first meeting this year…

I don't believe a 7th round QB has ever won a playoff game in the modern era. Possibly has not even started in one before. There's been a handful of 6 rounders of course.

So if the Bills somehow find a way to lose this game, go figure.

I mean, we *did* lose to freaking Zach Wilson this year, so isn't anything possible?

Especially when you're playing a team with a pretty strong defense, given the way we seem to be willing to give the ball away in droves this year.

Am I the only one who is a little freaked out by Keenum missing practice with an "Illness" designation, even though he has no game status?

Reportedly the QB room is very close and socializes together, like, A Lot, which would mean Josh Allen could be sick or getting sick right now?

Note that Poyer has no game designation.

One thought I've had about recent communication problems in secondary, is whether they're linked to Poyer missing practice so much?  Viewed from that perspective - the value of having Hyde on the field may be to serve as the "choir director" for the secondary (or at least the safeties) while Poyer rests up.

LOL if I hadn't YOLO would have been less than a minute behind!

Shout out to @YoloinOhio.  Thank You for your Service, Sir!

Nothing about Settle, either. That's good.

I know a lot of people think that it is a waste of time, but I would like to see the running game be incorporated more, especially now that James Cook is starting to find his footing

Running the ball does more than just keep a balanced offense it runs clock whenever you have leads, it keeps good offenses on the sideline, twiddling their thumbs and putting pressure on them, which can often lead to turnovers

Would love to see James Cook Inc. more into what we do they’ve been ramping him up slowly, but I think he’s ready

They had Cook split out wide on the INT late in the first half. He cut back across the middle of the field and was wide open, would have easily gotten the first down. Not sure why he was never noticed, but he’s up for it.

Great line from the Sun-Times: “Unlike the Bears offense last Sunday, we’ll pass.”

Another tidbit from that article I didn’t know: “Current NFL rules require a Super Bowl host stadium to have a capacity of at least 70,000 seats.”
