  1. I got to experience a championship when I lived in Chicago for several years when Michael Jordan was on the way up. I wasn't a hardcore basketball fan to begin with, and stopped paying attention as a kid when the Braves left, but it was fun becoming a Bulls fan at that time and I sweated it out in those playoff runs almost as much as I would a Bills playoff run. The excitement at the first Bulls championship was awesome, but still nothing like what it would be if/when the Bills win.

I did win a state championship many years back in racquetball. The relief and joy on winning it was so memorable. Again, nothing like what it would be for the Bills.

So were the Tre clips before or after the injury?

It had to be after. There was a scene where he was on the field but not dressed or practicing. They showed him participating in most everything else, though.

Didn't show his lower leg to know if he was wearing anything like a cast. Also didn't show him walking much to see if there was a limp, but didn't look like it.

  3. What Josh Allen Is Doing to Get the Bills That Elusive Super Bowl Win

Good interview with Allen. Nothing too shocking, just a nice inside look at some of the ways he's approaching the middle of his career.

Nice quote, too. Interesting about Kincaid:

    Quote

There was a play last year against the Colts in Week 10. With 16 seconds left in the first quarter, Buffalo was up 10–3, facing third-and-3 at the Indy 28. At the snap, Allen opened up to his right and looked to Curtis Samuel in the flat, saw him covered, and found a wide-open Dalton Kincaid streaking down the seam wide open.

Allen’s eyes got wide, and he put too much on the ball, sailing it way over Kincaid’s head. While the Bills went for it, and failed to convert on fourth down, and Indy wound up taking a 13–10 lead, Buffalo took control by halftime and cruised to a 30–20 win.

For most guys, it’d be a forgotten play in an MVP season. For Allen, it wasn’t.

“It would’ve been a laugher,” says Allen, implying Kincaid had an easy touchdown (which he did). “And I feel so bad, because I missed Dalton more than anyone last year, and I wish people would see that and say Josh needs to be better for Dalton, not the other way around. He’s such a stud; I’ve got so much faith in him. But, again, I’m still trying to get better.”

Yet IIRC, he did and came back to play. Before getting obliterated a second time lol

True, but I was referring to his image as an NFL QB. Can't recover from that debacle.

I’m glad he was released and hope to never see him in a Bills uniform again. He’s a good man, i just don’t like him as an NFL QB.

I will forever remember him only as the guy who got absolutely ragdolled by Milano on one of the most vicious hits I've ever seen. Can't recover from that.

  6. This thread is just confusing to me. Sure, Joe M was definitely very down on Walker during the draft, but in the video posted in the OP, he is heaping praise on him and sounds super excited about what he is able to do. He also stated how he was starting to prove him wrong. Isn't that what you all would like to hear? Or do you just like piling on someone based on the first few seconds of the video?

I could be wrong but I feel like if Tre's injury were long term, we'd have heard something by now and/or you'd hear of us bringing in someone of stature at CB. I wouldn't think they'd wait until McDermott's end of game presser today to be asked about it and be like "surprise, Tre is done".

I agree. It does seem strange that we haven't heard a peep about his injury yet. He's most certainly undergone some tests; if anything was definitive, we'd have heard by now.

All Players To Wear Number 17 For Buffalo Bills | Pro-Football-Reference.com

Amazing how not a single player wore #17 during the entire decade of the 1990s...

The Hancock play in the run game is nice but the two DTs get washed 4 yards back right off the snap

    True, but in all fairness:

    1. Both the DTs were double-teamed off the snap, and
    2. That was Zion Logue and Casey Rogers (?), neither of whom should make the team or should ever see snaps for this team in a game that counts.
