Its funny to see how beloved he already is after less than 2 games when the vast majority of this board crapped all over his signing all offseason, both before and after the PED announcement came out.  I kept telling people this dude can ball and was going to be a key player on this defense, but all anyone wanted to do was crap on the signing because they had not heard of him.

Rams fans were bummed to see him go despite Bills fans being less than enthused to sign him.  Reminds of when we signed Hyde and people kept crapping on that signing too while Packers fans were not happy to see him leave.

Its a real bummer the injury happened, I had been amped up for his debut and in less than 2 games he was already making his mark.  Solomon came in after he went down and actually had some nice reps, so not sure how they manage the DL moving forward, but I definitely think with Hoecht, Ed, and Carter out for most or rest of season Beane may be active ahead of the deadline.

Agreed, though I will say that I thought the defense did quite well even after Hoecht went out (4th and 17 notwithstanding).

From my experience I was there from 8am until 1pm on a day with my clouds in the sky at all. The way the stadium sits the south end zone will never see sun. That end zone would be the bills side of the stadium now. Obviously the sun sits higher in the sky earlier in the season so the sun will shine from about the 50 yard line north(southwestern). Also I was disappointed to notice that I’m in row 30 and it appears I will be on the drip edge of the canopy. I couldn’t get a full view because they have a platform built off of the canopy so the new heating system can be installed. All in all the place is beautiful and Big. Very open on the 100 level concourse. Baseball stadium feel.  But boy let me tell you. I hope the escalators don’t stop working because it is a lot of steps going from bottom to top. Bathrooms galore some have 24 urinals. Women won’t be in men’s bathrooms anymore because those bathrooms are just as big with 24 toilets.

I'm in what I believe is the southeastern corner of the stadium, so it's the Visitor's side, directly above the tunnel where the visitors enter and leave the stadium.

Seems tough to predict when that area will be in sun/shade, since my guess is it will be right in the transition zone on most game days depending on the start time.

You can use a photo editor and reduce the size of the image...it would be cool to see some shots.  Thx.

I actually prefer shade...no sun in your eyes and you can see everything.  But to each his own.

Same here, especially in the early months of the season when it can get really hot.

I've been trying to look at video and photos of the new stadium to try and see when, at different times of the year, my seats will be in the shade. Tough one to calculate.

It seems like timetables in general are getting shorter on big injuries, in every sport.

But the Bills are so cautious.  I could see him back for the playoffs - or yesterday being his last game until September.

Honestly, I don't expect him back this season. These types of injuries take a while to heal after surgery, and then he'll need to get all the strength and mobility back in his arm after having it do very little for a long time. Even if he looks like he's moving the arm well after a few months, he still may not have a lot of his original strength back—to say nothing of the kind of strength he'll need playing D-line and the stress he'll be putting that surgically repaired tendon under.

In all likelihood, the better move long-term is to let it heal and get it back as close to normal as possible for next season. But who knows—now that I've said that, I'm sure they'll find a way to prove me wrong.

Honestly, this isn’t surprising. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a player’s “status” plummet so much in 6 months. As a rookie, he went 87/1282/10. 7 games into year 2, he’s on the block.🤣🤣 He’s looked disinterested, lazy and unfocused. It’s WILD how quickly this fall has been. With that being said, it’s an easy yes from me and hope to rehabilitate him. Keon and a 2?

I don't know if I've ever seen an opinion pivot so much in two sentences!

This one places his timeline as "8 weeks or fewer". However, unless he suddenly gets Wolverine level healing powers, he won't be playing against us.

He won't play against us either way, since he's on IR and will be out for the next 4 games (minimum). The Bills game is the 4th one.

  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a broken collarbone in the team's 24-9 Monday night loss to the Detroit Lions, the team announced.

    Quote

A source told ESPN that Evans will undergo surgery this week to repair his collarbone, as first reported by NFL Network. Evans also suffered a concussion during the game.

The hope is that he will be back before the end of the regular season, coach Todd Bowles said on Wednesday, adding that Evans is "doing well."

Bucs also have injuries to OLB Haason Reddick ("Bowles said Reddick will miss some time") and Chris Godwin Jr. ("It's a week-to-week thing right now").

Just putting that news out there since the Bills face the Bucs on Nov 16th, 4 games from now.

My thing is they are blitzing hard, you have a game breaker at RB, why not line him up in the slot and just let him work against LBs on some quick slants or wheel routes?

Why do the Bills not run common sense routes against blitzes like slants?

It's mind boggling. I mean, Atlanta's defense was well known to be one of the highest blitzing defenses this year so far. It's not like they couldn't have seen it coming from a long way away. How did they not have a whole set of plays ready to go just for the blitz?

And it's not like they didn't...the TD to Davis was a perfect call for a blitz, and it worked perfectly. Where were these plays the rest of the game??

  9. The Chiefs were 2-3 a couple years ago and then made it to the AFC Championship Game.

Why people are writing them off already is beyond me. They will not lose to the Raiders and Commanders, and may very possibly beat the Lions. This thread will look silly when they come into Buffalo at 5-3.
