He said he has been told he had really good numbers, running the 40-yard dash in 4.50 seconds and having a vertical leap of 37 1/2 inches. "The only downfall is I've never played before so they don't know if I can take a hit," Onobun said. "I know nothing about the game and I've only been training for a couple of weeks." He hasn't played football since junior high. He said he may be able to catch on with a team during a minicamp or during training camp to continue learning the game.

I know plenty of NY Jet fans in my area. I imagine the Cortland camp will be infested with Jets fans when the time comes.

I'll bet the NY Jets get many Buffalo fans/NY Giant fans to attend that camp in Cortland NY. Cortland is not far from my place. I will consider attending that camp if they do in fact have it there. Frez

Inside info............ Syracuse men’s basketball players Eric Devendorf and Paul Harris were told they better move on with their careers because they were not needed back next year by Jim Boeheim. Syracuse has BETTER players that will replace them 2 next year. I doubt either of them will be drafted by any NBA teams.

Wait a minute. What team is going to trade for Peters and give up a 1st round pick and then give Peters top LT NFL money? People here are assuming the Eagles will do the deal. I say the Eagles have no interest in Jason Peters and would rather use their draft picks and get their LT through the draft. Some here think Peters is worth a 1st and a 3rd? Put the crack pipe away!

Jason Peters is still a LT in progress. Buffalo will be making a mistake if they let him go and start from scratch at LT once again. Nothing like a scrub or rookie 5th round pick protecting Trent Edwards this year eh? That's why we are the Buffalo Bills.

A friend of a friend bumped into Thurman Thomas a day or two ago. Thurman mentioned something bigger than Terrel Owens is coming to the Buffalo Bills and should happen before draft day.
