I am trying to decide if I want to go, my GF, a Dolphins fan - Loved Marino (so not right) wants to go...I am close to performing a miracle and she is close to converting; she hates the current Phins and roots for the Bills....I am soo close....
I'll prolly grab tickets they are 7000 left...am looking at section 129 right now

The Giants secondary blows....The Giants could have won the game if Plaxico knew how to catch the ball...they gave up on the run...I think Tiki only had 14 carries, Eli couldn't throw at all...
-
O almost fell off my couch last night when I heard the crackhead (Irvin) name Evans as his #1 game breaker and gave him props...
Its kinda funny...no one is talking about JP, it was all about Lee catching 2 perfectly thrown balls two him...

Seeing I was at the game the last time the Jags were at RWS....Here is another reason why we will win...
They don't have Jimmy Smith to beat Clements on a 4th & 23 pass play with under 30 seconds left...
BTW that was a terrbile call in the endzone...he was not pushed out of bounds by Fletch, TKO, and Posey!!!
-
From what I saw last night.....their WR's can't catch...If you stop their running game, they will have a tough time beating you...
They have a great front 4 on D; They shut Tiki down....I'm slightly concerned about our OL...If JP can throw the ball more accurately than Eli...We should win...10-6

LOL....For those of you who cant find NFL.com....
Palmer is leading with 66%, JP and Brady each have 19%
-
I didn't notice this until I read Chris Brown's blog...
VOTE FOR LOSMAN: J.P. is apparently up for the NFL FedEx Express Player of the Week after his 340-yard, 3 touchdown performance in the win over the Texans which included the game-winning pass. He's going up against Tom Brady and Carson Palmer for the award.
Go to nfl.com now to vote. You have only until noon Wednesday to enter a vote. Don't let Brady win something else. He's gotten enough credit!
Plus Brady and Palmer won their games handily. Neither of them had a game-winning come from behind touchdown pass with 13 seconds left.

The Jags receivers are god awful, I haven't seen that many dropped balls (insert crude joke here) in a game in a long long time....We need to stop our draft pick(F. Taylor - the Bills pick for RJ ) from running all over us and Garrard has some wheels too....I say let them beat us with their $hitty WR's covered man 2 man with Nate and Terrance (Ha Ha Philip... I farted) McGee
-
I was very unimprseed with the Giants yesterday....I know that they have alot of injured players, but with their talent now....they're done for....Plaxico is god awful and has 0 heart....When I see him play all I think about is when he spiked the ball after a large reception in his rookie year...LOL...it was afumble...dumb ass
Eli was very unimpressive...he is 32nd in the league in third down conversions - that surpirsed me..His mechanics sucked, made poor decisions, and poor throws...
-
Tiki is no slouch, 2nd in the NFL in rushing (He's not a fluke either look at the last few years), & Shockey is a Probowl TE
Manning has the pressure of being compared to the person who will turn out to statisically be the best QB ever....Peyton
-
I agree, but we all thought that Manning would pass for 750 yds against us and that McGee and Clements would get torched...anything can happen...
PS...I think it will be like 10 tds and 400 yds with our stout DT's.....
Unless there really is 2 ft of snow...
-
he made a great tackle on completion #21...for a yd loss....everyone has a bad game every now and then....the kid's a rookie and this was his only not so good game
-
I am. It looked like he was reading man when the Texans were running a zone under. That's not a complicated read and it's one you can't blow inside your own 10. It takes an awful lot of good plays to make up for that one bad one and regardless of protection JP won't be able to overcome it and succeed if he keeps doing it.
Cya
Every QB makes a mistake like that....think about how many times our great JK did it...He bounced back, put it behind him and it didn't effect him the rest of the game....I won't bring up the Sun in his eyes either...every QB throws a bad INT once in awhile...he made up for it
You're focusing on it because of all the otehr games this year...in the conext of this game...it was one bad play...it happens

or unless we end up with Nick Saban as HC...

I was about to start a seperate thread about Peters, so allow me to use your instead.....
I was thrilled by his performance yesterday. I hope posters realize just how great it is to even have a possibility of a high quality Lfet Tackle on the roster, let alone one who is signed long term.
As I said in another thread, he reminds me of a healthy Jennings which is VERY good indeed, but this kid is just getting started!!!
I can't stress enough how hard it is to get these guys. If LTs were readily available, players such as Backus and Jennings would NOT have been offered 40 million or so dollar contracts. They are not superstars, yet command and earn the big bucks.
Nobody ever likened D'Brick to Orlando Pace (more of a Richmond Webb imo), yet he went 4th. Teams are flat out desperate for these guys!
Peter's development is nothing short of monumental for the Bills, Bills Fans, and of course JP. IF, yes IF Peters can continue to progress, we will not necessarily have to draft a LT in 07. Attention can be turned to the OG, DT, LB, TE, and even WR positions. Would anybody mind having players like DeMeco Ryans or Ernie Simms on the Bills?
In summary, I think that the development of Peters matters as much as that of JP. The good news is this runs hand in hand.
GO JASON!!!!!!!GO FRIGGIN BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A very good post Bill...I concurr...Peters was great....there is not much doubt that he'll be a greta LT and be around for a long long time...wait till we use him as a tackle elgible in goal lie situations...he has good hands and is quick too...he may end up being TD's best find....
I have a feeling that Pennington is going to turn out to be good...we definately need OG, a pass-catching TE, an LB (TKO has me worried and I dunno if Fletch will be back)...It was eveident yestweday that we haev a ton of #3 and #4 WR's...we need a true #2

LOL
I wasn't that bad...I was ok until the pass to Evans that got us to the what 13 yd line? We had time left to play a couple of shor dump offs to the A-Train...they were giving us 8-10 yds a completion...we needed to take them to get some better feild position for the last shots in the end zone...With the pass to evans though...I was swearing and yelling...hurry the f-up, spike the f'in ball...wtf...come on hurry up...then I was like 15 ticks left...4 shots...all we needed was one
I'll admit this too...
After JP threw the pick and it was returned, I was ok with it...while I would have liked to keep the lead, in a way I wanted to see if this team could rally from behind for a win...I also wanted to see how JP would react... so I was fine when we were down and just hoped that we would get the ball back and be able to use the 2 minute offense...
I was very impressed with JP bouncing back from adversity on the road, putting the INT for a TD behind him...I was very impressed with how he ran the 2 minute offense and the plays he made...he managed the clock well....I'll also admit that i was waiting for a false start or delay of game penalty too...was very surprised to not see a drive ending penalty...

He smacked that dude good...I liked Schobel's one handed drive of the LT into Carr for the sack...that was nuts....

They are totally meaningless, however, they are the only postive records that a Bill has set in how long? Therefore with all the misery since '99 (We were The Winningest Team of the Decade); its nice to be able to see and say something good about this team....
Even the trio of Mooch, Prime Time and Dick Eisen, said Carr's 22 straight completions were garbage as they didn't affect the score and his last 4-5 went for like 3 yds....
Roll call: Who is going to the game . . .

Actually I'm the great cook.....the Miami thing came out a bit later...and yes she is hot
I took her to the game at home last year for her Bday present...she wasn't too happy with the result...the fans gave her a hard time, she wore Miami stuff...I told her that was a dumb dumb move, but like most women; she insisted...
We were on like the 6yd line on the Phins side...a bunch of old ladys, we are talking grey curly hair, wearing bills stuff, tapped her on the shoulder and said if she was unhappy, she could move her seat to sit with the other unhappy Fins fans...She was pissed...
We went to the Chiefs game and she rooted for the Bills..the only time this season rooting for the Phins was week 2, for about 2 minutes before Culpepper started getting recked...she no longer really seems to care about them...she roots for the Bills each week..
If I can convert a Phins fan to Bills fan...
Just Bought 'em Section 129 row 13....not bad
Not as good as the tix to the Benagls game I got a few years back(1st game for TKO against Cincy - Moulds hamstring)...50 yd 2nd row..Bills Bench...
