  1. Against third-stringers or on his @#$% back looking at the Jumbotron to see where that truck came from that ran him over while he was looking for his man downfield.
  2. Bromide is also defined as: commonplace or hackneyed statements or notion. Hackneyed is defined as: worn out from too long or too much use... Damn it Marv you've got us all using the dictionary.....
  3. Oh sh-t we've got to listen to that @#$% A$$ hole Simms with his 13-year-olds' comments, and his never say anything bad about anything....I guess I'll have the sound off again!
  4. My thought would be that WM gives this Miracle Man of football a stiff-arm to the ground and run over him on the way to score on a 62 yd TD.
  5. Maybe when they play NE Saban will kiss Brady before the game to wish the other AFC Esast fag good luck....
  6. Could someone with more patience to read these wordy post, please summarize for those of us who don’t have the time to page through these posts to get the point or points that are being made….because this person does make good points, but the long ramblings are many time too uncomfortable to read, especially while having other things going on…..sorry I wish I had the time to read your posts but they are too frustrating long.
  7. I sure do! Lke all the talk but no walk from the defense… that they were the best in the NFL and would rank with the all time greats! What a joke that turned out to be…………
  8. I agree, he seems to be out of position and in the wrong place much of the time he’s on the field. I think Wire is an idiot when playing defense, so we are missing something that the coaches feel is important to the team. Could it be his ST play is critical or better than the alternatives? Maybe Bobby April has his reasons?
  9. Boy, that sure makes sense, right?….she is an employee that is just trying to do her job, to help these on-the-air guys look and sound professional for the audience…..and the HOF Committee hasn’t, as yet, asked broadcast employees to input on how some sports jock treats some employee of a network….although you may be on to something…..
  10. Oh no! Not another loquacious epistle again from Pyrite Gal
  11. My thought that we have a good chance for second place in the division is not predicated on us beating NE, because I don’t believe we can at this point in time. But I think we can win the two games with the Jets, and my point about if the defense plays well, would give us a better than even odds to beat Miami. If our defense can keep the scoring low allowing no more than two TD’s I think this offense can put up enough points to be competitive, and pull off a few unexpected wins. So I think 2nd place in the division is a possibility.
  12. My niece works in the broadcast industry in NYC and, on several occasions, the last few years, has had to work with Tasker, on limited bases. She said that he started out, a few years ago, as a fairly nice guy but has turned into somewhat of a jerk lately. He is becoming arrogant and is sometime condescending to the broadcast crews, and it’s becoming apparent to more people lately. It seems to be more than just having a bad hair day. His attitude appears to be just plain egotistical.
  13. I think everyone agrees that NE will win the division. That leaves our only real competition for the number 2 spot Miami, and I think we can match up with them. I think if we can beat them in both games we stand a good chance of grabbing the number 2 spot in the division.
  14. If the defense has a good season it is very reasonable to see the Bills finishing number 2 in the division, excluding any injuries of course. If they can limit the opponents scoring opportunities I think they can give our offense a real chance of scoring on some big plays. I really think we are seeing the beginning of the return of the bomb down the field with this offense. I hope they set as the standard, what we enjoyed with Kelly and company.
  15. What is the difference between players being released or being waived, clearly they are not the same, as the two terms don’t seem to be used interchangeably; and how does each one affect the player, his contract, the releasing/waiving team, and a team that signs him?
  16. I think you may be right on that! I just checked my Direct TV listing here in Florida and the Bills game has been replaced at 1:00 by the Ravens. Damn them!
  17. NFL Network's web site still lists the Bills at 1:00 today. Some reports from Buffalo have said it was no longer listed on their schedules....anyone know for sure? link: http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/preseason_2006
