  1. Because rich white republican politicians have legislated for decades to the advantage of their rich white cronies and continue to do so with no end in sight?
  2. I see you skipped all the big important issues.
  3. Yes and I would wager heavily that a higher percentage of inner city black kids have attended the museums in Chicago than that of suburban whites because discount and free tickets are widely dispersed in the city and the proximity to the museums is much better from the city. Many in the suburbs rarely go downtown and some suburban schools don't do field trips there. Probably 100% of city schools do. But wait a minute, maybe her point is strictly that minorities don't "feel" welcomed once they are there. Rubbish.
  4. Imagine what we might hear from tem after they leave Washington and have nothing at all to lose.
  5. Disagree. Huckabee not at the top of my list but I'm quite sure his leadership style and personality would promote a more cooperative and more productive environment with the house, senate and the opposing party compared to what's been in the White house over the past couple decades.
  6. He's about as squeaky clean and common sense as you'll find in a politician IMO. Qualities that would go a long way in Washington.
  7. Didn't see anything in the article that talks about taking away health care from younger voters.
  8. All for freedom of speech but this particular event seems like a stupid use of spare time without much upside.
  9. Yup, there is no end to the damage that does to society. Heck, that's probably what has ISIS all stirred up with the end of the world coming due to weather.
  10. So does the author oppose all budget deficits?
  11. Stacey can say whatever she wants and I'll watch and listen.
  12. Surplus value = making a profit off of someone else's labor (capitalism) Making a profit = unfair Unfair = bad Therefore capitalism = bad
  13. He's hardly as pragmatic as that quote might suggest. So he rails on about the top 1% making too much but of course doesn't say what should be done to help the lower wage earners. Of course it will involve taking more or the hard earned money from the top. He also fails to give the 1% credit for the huge tax burden that is upon them. Funny thing about Liberals, they rarely say how to fix what they perceive as a problem and when they do the math usually doesn't work.
  14. They just needed a couple thousand more Mom's like this out there.
  15. They just need some sensitivity training.
  16. So you're against anyone who gets $250K, $500K or $750K for a speech? Kissinger and those in the Reagan era did OK.
  17. Fair to say he believes it as does the majority of Americans.
  18. I completely understood who he meant, but since he wasn't specific in terms of who was the butthole, I thought I'd make him go back and read what he wrote.
  19. Agree, Obama is a butthole on foreign policy.
  20. Have not seen it but will check it out.
  21. What would have helped out the country is if Mr. Obama would have had a translator by his side at every speech or press conference to tell us in plain language what all of his vague and carefully chosen words really mean.
  22. No but it reduces the necessity to shave that part of the leg.
