  1. He has still always won. No matter where he has gone he did what it took to win.
  2. I agree. I just don't think you write someone off that has the heart that Tebow does.
  3. hmmm pass on a proven leader and a workhorse because it is to risky? Too risky for what round?

  5. I know this is going to be a shock to people here, but not everything you hear on the internet is true. Like this thread it is opinion. All we can do is watch for people with good reputations for presenting facts and believe some of what we read. I was told once. Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.
  6. I said the FO is looking smarter and smarter. Let me explain. I think Brandon did the right thing by bringing in a football guy to handle the football side of the franchise. Nix is known as a football guy. He brings in his replacement in the assistant GM he hired. Who has a good track record. Then they hire a coach who knows the "o" side of the ball. Who has a track record of getting more our of QB's. He has since hired a lot of coaches with experience. I like most of the hires. I am not sure if that will translate into wins, but I like the direction they are headed. This in no way means they will win this year or ever. I just think the FO especially Brandon and Nix are getting the right guys here to mold this team. What is left to see is what they do in FA and the draft. Then does that translate into wins in year 3 or 4. I hope it does next year. I would be surprised, but like others have posted this league is made up of a lot of mediocre teams. So we could win sooner than later with a lot of luck. Quality dialog though. I am actually enjoying reading this thread because there has been quality responses.
  7. Marty would have been a good hire. He has a track record, but he is not the only coach that can help turn this ship around. I would have taken a couple different coaches, but when I look at what we have I am content and excited to see what is going to happen.
  8. Chan has a coaching staff that has lots of coaching experience. It may not be in the Pro Ranks, but a lot of College experience. Then they are getting younger guys that can be mentored into being the next coach to come in and take over when the old guys are done. Not to mention two heads are better than one. These coaches can challenge each other and see things that the others cannot. I like the moves so far. My opinion will change with wins and losses, but what Bills fan doesn't .

  10. There is a reason that the fan base in Seattle wants their FO to draft a qb to groom to replace Matt.
  11. Seneca is a good wildcat option but that is about it.
  12. Or DJ was taking the D to the 3/4 when he had the personnel to do it
  13. Based on what. This isn't why I asked the question. I just think it is interesting that all three clubs are at a turning point in their teams history. Which one is going in the right direction and are we going to be linked with them?
  14. Most, if not all of them have pro experience. Of the 13 coaches on the Bills website 10 of them have NFL experience. Most of them have over 20 years of coaching experience.
  15. I was listening to Peter Carrol on Seattle Sports talk radio and he was talking about the reason he joined the Seahawks. He talked about how he liked that they were changing everything from the FO to the coaching staff. That made me think about how a lot of Bills fans feel that we are doing the same old, same old. Then you have the Redskins that brought in a new FO and coaching staff. Will people compare the progress of the three franchises? I actually like what we have done in the FO and the coaching staff. I like that they all come with lots of experience.
  16. If you have an opportunity to get a franchise QB you do it. There is no discussion
  17. It would make sense and fit with the pattern of the hires Chan has made at this point. He is looking for experienced coaches.
  18. I agree with Lori. This FO has proven that they care more about who they want more than who others want. Non of us had Chan on our radar. Non of us know who the DC is but I am sure that they have him in place and are waiting to announce all of the assistant coaches at once.
  19. Ummm no. They hired Chan a couple weeks ago. Mad is gone and now waiting to see who the coordinators are.
