  1. I love how we are so reactionary. There is no news so we make up news. Which is what a lot of sports talk people do. They share their "educated" opinion. I am sorry but we have no clue who all has been interviewed. We have no clue who is our top choice because we root for a team that wants things to stay behind close doors. Therefore there is a lot of speculation. I am tired of people trying to pin point why we cant get a top notch coach or assistant, when we make our definition of who a top notch coach or coordinator is based on what we know about them, but in all reality we have no clue how they would do in Buffalo. I for one have spent way to much time trying to get the scoop when in fact we will not know until the Bills let it be known. As a fan I appreciate that they are interviewing a lot of people. I personally am not sure having a big name coach will make the difference. The difference will be getting a big O-line that is good. If we have a line that can protect the QB I think most coaches would succeed in this league. If we were able to get good on both lines then we have a serious shot of winning with a Joe Schmo off the streets (not really), but most NFL Coaches are in the NFL because they are good enough to be there. I believe what separates the "bad", the "good" and the "great" coaches is the personnel they draft and acquire. This has more to do with Buddy then it does the next coach. I want a good coach, but I am not going to go postal if we do not get who I "think" is a good coach.
  2. No Jim Mora!!!! Seattle fans were not happy with him. He threw his players under the bus a lot in post game interviews. Seattle had a lot of injuries but they kept getting worse and worse. There is a reason he was fired after one season. The record he had coming is was because he had Vick. Not because he was a good coach. He may be a good D coordinator but that is about it.
  3. I think he will do well in Chicago. I like that he is not going to be our head coach.
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/news/story?id=4812547 This says that Perry took the Defensive Coordinator job in Chicago.
  5. Have you been to Seattle? It is a beautiful city. Buffalo went to four super bowls in in four years, That gives a little tradition of winning. THe Bills fans have tasted victory over a period of time like no other team in history. Yeah we may not have a tradition of winning but when compared to the Hawks we do!!!! Most fans are waiting for the glory years to come back.
  6. Unless you want to groom a new guy and give him a couple years in the NFL before throwing him to the wolves. Some of the sports guys in town were trying to say the Hawks need to sign him for two more years and let Matt mentor him. Really if Seattle figured out its o line they would be a decent team in a weak division. Seattle is not a horrible football town most sports fans are fair weather. Seattle just has no tradition of winning over a long period of time. I think that is what takes a normal sports town to a passionate sports town.
  7. Seahawks have a QB. There line is horrible and that is why they sucked so bad, They also had almost as many people on IR. There D is good and they have some weapons on O they are not that far away. I live in Seattle and have to listen to their sport talk radio.
  8. http://www.buffalosportsdaily.com/2010/01/...p-on-joe-logan/ I found this article. Not sure it helps us understand who he is.
  9. Watching this Interview I like this guys personality and his fire. He has nothing to lose. I like the hire.
  10. I could see that. I love this game on NFL.com. Not sure why they are talking so much. Where is the game?
  11. D Bell is athletic. I am not sure he can't be a left tackle.
  12. Next year can we win with these guys have a full year in the NFL and together. I realize that half of these guys are on the IR. I realize this is a young group, but do they have the talent or do we need to rebuild the oline? Who would you keep and who would you get ride of? I think we may have the talent on the team to have a good oline. We are bigger and I think have more of an attitude than we have had in years past. I think we may not need to do much with this online to have a decent one. 69 Meredith, Jamon OL 6-5 304 23 R South Carolina 79 Scott, Jonathan OL 6-6 318 26 3 Texas (Keep) 61 Gaddis, Christian OL 6-1 300 25 1 Villanova 71 Simmons, Kendall OL 6-3 315 30 7 Auburn (Keep) 77 Bell, Demetrius OL 6-5 307 25 1 Northwestern State University (Keep) 67 Levitre, Andy OL 6-2 305 23 R Oregon State (Keep) 63 Hangartner, Geoff OL 6-5 301 27 5 Texas A&M 68 McKinney, Seth OL 6-3 310 30 8 Texas A&M 70 Wood, Eric OL 6-4 315 23 R Louisville (Keep) 60 Butler, Brad OL 6-7 315 26 4 Virginia (Keep)
